Early on you mentioned you need 10/2 Romex to power the heater. The heater needs two hots for 240v and no neutral. If you use the white wire in the Romex as the second hot, would you tape the white wire with red tape on the ends?
It doesn’t have a specific temperature setting shown on the thermostat but I’ve learned pretty quickly where the setting for 60 degrees is this winter which is pretty comfortable when it’s 18 outside. I think there’s a model above this one with a remote and digital thermostat
Nope. No need to. There’s still power in the breaker panel with the main off. I’d have to pull the meter to make it totally dead. I do this regularly. E-1 Master Electrician in my state.
Panel is still hot with the main off. Still have power to the bare terminals on the main which can easily be touched by accident. That’s why I say if you’re not comfortable working in there, don’t

Yes I would mark it with red tape
Bravo 👏🏻! That’s Perfectly Awesome! Cheers!🥂❤️✨
Thanks!
Can you set the heater kick on at a certain temperature?

Wow. You didn't shut off power to the house before working on the breaker panel?

I get that YOU are an electrician but please tell regular people to turn off the main panel so that it is safe to work.
