I just think about this i have in mind that what if we integrate AI into Space and Aircraft technology and am glad I found this video I will like to pursue a degree in this
I wish Major Stephens last question about the future of air combat pilots was answered a bit better, rather than effectively a platitude about pilots sticking around. A very specific scenario is in the works and it would have been great to hear his take on that. That is, the pilot in theater with several AI drone aircraft at their disposal. The pilots role is going to be that of a director, telling his cybernetic cohort what he wants them to do.
Part 2 will explore the next iteration of VISTA with Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA), but it is interesting to think about what is still behind the curtain.
Oh the X-62A can model any airplane? Then 100% someone at NASA is working on a DCS and X-Plane to X-62A model adapter, just to prove they could :) Also the color scheme is fantastic, very bold.
Thinking in 5 simultaneously dimensions that exponentially learn upon itself is the ultimate double edge sword. Once the genie is out of the bottle and does not need human interaction one must be careful, like a boomerang it can come back and strike the sender. Iran taught the USA a huge lesson when Iran took total remote control of our most advanced stealth drone, rumor states AI was involved. Which Nation?
Watch the anime Yukikaze created 20 years ago for a surprisingly cogent perspective on AI intelligent aircraft. Clips of it are available on RUclips. 👌
Its easy to simulate an aircraft less maneuverable than you, but what about aircraft more maneuverable. High Alpha capable jets like the F-22, Su-57 etc. can the X-62 simulate that?
12:28 No, it doesn't sound like sci-fi, more like Theranos. 20:36 Since they don't have algorithms that learn, they don't have AI. And such algorithms that's not even AI yet. One can write them as a regular program. So, I'm surprised they only dream about them. And are dreaming with lot of fear. Like cavemen being scared of fire. Oh no AI is going to learn and take over 🤣Which basically means, these people don't even know what they're talking about. It's just verbal salad, to make themselves sound stupid. And since he's afraid of AI, he doesn't want to make it. They're not doing anything there. Just regular programs and bad acting. I wonder how much does the research cost?
Great Video and the progress of this program is incredible. One thing i didn't like was the old 80's sounding music which made this feel like a 40 year old documentary
now we are giving them planes. next is the nuke launch control perhaps. 😅🤔 the scenario is so familiar. Don't do that. AI is supposed to help humans in humanitarian stuff not given control of military and war machines. Idiotic and dangerous
1:15 looks like they’re using mostly heuristic code rather than neural networks? The Air Force should probably ask a Elon to help using Tesla’s Cortex to move to a mostly neural network, including putting a shadowing algorithm on all US fighters …
What do you think about AI in Military Aviation? You can also watch Part 2 here for more info: ruclips.net/video/e-kP1vZ8lYw/видео.html

Very interesting. How does the plane maintain situational awareness? Does it have all-around cameras or radar?
@@pat8988 they use radar to identify the surroundings especially fighter jets
“With AI, it’s important we do this safely and ethically. Anyway here’s our two test pilots, ‘Evil’ and ‘Demon.’”
Just very unfortunate callsigns.
wtf ever dude. They are warfighters. What call signs did you want, “Empathy” and
“Compassion”?
We get Ace Combat 7 before GTA 6. Wait...
Interesting to see Belkan technology being developed irl
Beautifully made episode. Well done!!! Eagerly awaiting future episodes!!!

The whole video is a platitude platter.
This was an awesome episode!
Amazing! Great video!
Amazing to see how the tech is coming along, but scary as well.
What do they have now, if they can show THIS to us? 🙂
Part 2 will explore the next iteration of VISTA with Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA), but it is interesting to think about what is still behind the curtain.
This is sick.
7:25 is war ever ethical ??
Where can i watch the full video
Yall didn't watch Terminator.....
you watch too many movies
I did, and as far as I remember, the Terminator was on our side.
Ah yes, 80's science fiction movies, the best source of education to keep the public opinion educated on modern day technology...
@tanybrachid ok ....20 years from now when these things are running loose and you can't put the genie back in the bottle just remember this exchange

Call of duty isn't happening just yet 😂
Is this a Yukikaze reference

Skynet is on the horizon.
Was looking for this comment. The terminator is slowly becoming a very real and scary movie.
Diem occupare. Sed diligenter.

Bro it’s B-roll.
Elon, who has business in China and publicly supports CCP?
Baby Bombers
