REMINDER: I'm mostly gonna drop the 'back-to-back' aspect of the Death Battle rankings, so my next video is likely not going to be the Season 4 ranking. I love Death Battle and I love making these videos, but I also love video games, and I have plenty of topics I want to turn into goofy videos. I figured it's best to let myself do those so I won't feel like I have to rush the remaining rankings just to get to those other videos. I also say "mostly" because hey, things can change, and for all I know there's a chance I'll still do the rest of the rankings back to back. I remember when Joker vs. Sweet Tooth was my favorite DB for the longest time. It has since been topped by two others, but I'd say it's still my favorite of season 3.
Have been rewatching the Death Battle ranking videos, and there are two running gags in these that I completely forgot. The frequent and inexplicable mentioning of Twizzlers And the frequents shots at Thanos vs Darkseid
Honestly, there are less toes and fingers on my hands and feet than the number of times I rewatched the season 1 and 2 rankings waiting for this one. And boooooy was it worth the wait!

First off thanks, glad you enjoyed it! But second off, the Deadpool VS Pinkie Pie Road to 100 blog said that in its place was going to be Lara VS Nate. Maybe Power Rangers VS Voltron was a consideration at some point (and to be honest I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking if the archives aren't 100% legit so I have a hunch both of them were set to finales at some point) but that's where I got that info from lol
Given that Season 4 would make each episode having custom battle tracks a new standard starting with Shredder vs Silver Samurai, can we expect more emphasis on the tracks in the Season 4 ranking?
Mewtwo VS Shadow is actually a cinematic masterpiece that deconstructs all of society. Part of the background not getting rendered correctly is actually a deliberate reference to how these two characters are so strong that they are altering reality as we know it. Shadow dying to a spoon (an eating utensil) is actually an allusion to how corrupt the food industry is in our capitalist society. And most importantly, Shadow being voiced badly on purpose is a subtle nod to how society forces us to pretend to conform to the standards established by our society, which more often than not causes us to be worse off. You simply could not comprehend the genius symbolism of this work of art that makes anything created by Shakespeare or Dostoyevsky look like crayon doodles. Unsubbed.
Your right about Mewtwo vs shadow it was very Bad and shadow was tricked badly, but if you look at shadow Vs Ryuko shadow is finally treated like a character
22:30 actually, Fairy Tail is the SHORTEST mainstream anime by a good margin(not counting a fillerless Bleach, but the margin between them will closen(or gap even further depending whether you count filler or not) when Bleach returns later this year to cover it's final arc) so if you want to watch a mainstream, Fairy Tail is the "shortest" and something I recommend.(there's 330-340 episodes with only 1 filler arc that makes it more around 300)
Yo these videos are fucking lit. Watched the first one right before work and first thing I did when I got home is binge watched the sequels. Can't say for your other content as I haven't watched it (yet). But you got good comedy and have earned a new subscriber. Also eventually you should totally do a joke vid where you rank your own videos ranking the seasons lmao.
There's a special place on my heart for Joker vs Sweet Tooth because it was the first one I ever did a reaction video to. But wait, they considered Kefka for it? And you think Joker would LOSE? To BASE Kefka perhaps but they'd have to give him his god form, which means Joker would have to get his Emperor version, and uh...Emperor Joker flat out stomps. He's basically what would happen if Joker was part of the Q Continuum. Kefka is awesome in all meanings of the word but he's not THAT powerful. I absolutely hated Hulk vs Doomsday. They bring together two maddeningly powerful beasts and yet they just throw each other through some buildings and fling some cars around? I found it really boring and not using either of them to their full potential.
