I have a F. Dick from Esslingen no RZM no flaws. My grandpa brought it back. Painted scabbard. Missing the leather strap. It seems with so many made these things are a dime a dozen so to speak. But it's definitely the coolest thing I own.

Hi as a novice were they issued or a buy item?? and could they have been ??? Taken to a knife maker and (reved up) for the onwer? Thanks John K.

Both. Numbered ones were typical Gau owned and issued out for events but most were purchased and could be personalized but it was uncommon- more often seen with SS examples
