Introducing Citizens of the Reef ‪@CitizensoftheGreatBarrierReef‬, an organisation using AI to analyse thousands of images from their yearly Great Reef Census.
This innovative approach allows everyday people like you and me to help identify and label coral, helping marine scientists analyse data faster and aiding in reef conservation efforts.
During my internship with Citizens of the Reef, I saw the power of citizen science firsthand. By working together, we can provide scientists with valuable data to track the reef's health and develop effective conservation strategies.
To get involved, all you have to do is visit Citizens of the Reef's website and watch the tutorial video, then you can start identifying coral from survey photos!
