@@7.52amaccording to Phoebe Waller-Bridge (who created the show and plays Lulu), it was only ever meant to be 1 season (basically a mini-series). I wish they’d made another season though too!

@@whatever96 I don't know how anyone couldn't like it, maybe its British humour or something but I laughed more while watching crashing (and fleabag) than any other show (even though both shows are quite short)
@@Simon-zq9cw I agree. Phoebe Waller bridge is a comedic genius. She makes heartbreaking moments funny. I discovered her few weeks ago through a fleabag video I clicked on accidentally and I instantly fall in love with her absurd humour.
It's pretty good, wouldn't go as far as brilliant. It's no 'fleabag'!

Anthony and Lulu are definitely the worst characters, they're cowards and hypocrites. Kate was annoying but she was right most of the time

And Anthony and Lulu would never actually work as a couple. If Lulu never came back into the picture, with better communication Anthony and Kate could have worked because they wouldn’t have to worry about someone trying to ruin their relationship which Lulu was doing so passively the entire season

I finished this show in one day. It’s hilarious! Weird at first but when the plot started, just can’t stop watching. I love it so much. I wish there were season two. I predict I will be rewatching it a lot of time in the future. Love Sam and Fred. But Sam dripping the wine from his mouth to Lulu’s does things to me 🥵

I bit too late to respond...But PWB was the show writer and did not want to extend the story. She thought it was a one season story and that was all. She said it will never come out a second season. :(

Love this show. I love that they all kind of got what they wanted in the end. And I would hope that lulu and Anthony ended up together. But the real star of this show is melody, her lines are unforgettably hilarious choke on your food funny. So pretty too. I'm so sad there isn't more to watch of this because it is an amazing binge in one day show 😍😭

I've just started watching the first episode. Absolutely loving it!... in a twisted and perverted kind of way, reminsicent of an old man in a dirty coat sitting in a cinema during a Disney movie kind of way.

I binge watched the show in a day. Then I watched it again. Now I’m here, not knowing what to do… Contemplating to watch it again.
Recently watched all episodes, what stunning writing, superbly cast. Don’t mean to sound snobbish but I don’t expect non-Brits would really get the depth, tragedy, and comedy of this piece because of various references. Phoebe at her very best here.

To my eternal shame I had never heard of this or , indeed, PWB until The Killing Of Eve and then Fleabag which was phenomin.peenomoman.penemonal Really Really Good and now I will start watching this. I'm 65 and rarely watch new shows unless recommended so I can miss these gems...
Unpopular Opinion: I think the writing on this show is even better than Fleabag.
Oh my gosh, I have to agree! A mix of existential and unexplained human emotion with humour AND hope, not just the first two. Just as bizarre and raw, but in a much more light-hearted way. Love both, but there's just something about Crashing....
PWB writes the most disastrous dinner party and somehow outdid herself with the one on Fleabag

Not funny. She flirted wayy too much with an engaged man and he didn't shut her down. Didn't like this character at all.
I actually hated this show, but I was roped into watching all of it with friends. All the characters were ABSOLUTE arseholes. Fleabag reigns supreme.
i think that was the point we just never got to see them progress, which they probably would have if it had more episodes :/
