  • In this tutorial we demonstrate how to limit the Pan & Tilt range of all Moving Heads in your lighting rig at a global setting (i.e. all at the same time). The Force 1.0 allows you to fine tune the range of movement of each Moving Head independently or all at once. This adjustement is done under the "Moving Head Test" option. In addition, you can "invert" certain fixtures if you have a mirror image / symmetrical arrangement of moving heads, guaranteeing that the mirror effect will be spot on when the internal movement effect algorithms take advantage of this capability.

You say the Force 1.0 can use any lights with it. Even the Chinese knock off brands, like BOTH LIGHTING USA? I love the simplicity of the light shows, and I sold my Sound Switch One Controller just to getvone of these. It still seems to good to be true, no monthly fee, no membership correct? Thanks for all your tutorial videos.

Absolutely, as long as the lighting fixture is DMX compatible the Force 1.0 can control it. In fact, a significant majority of our current customers are using unbranded or “Chinese knock off” brand lights in their rigs. It’s hard not to consider that route when comparing the substantial cost difference with major brands. Of course there’s downsides going the inexpensive route sometimes that need to be weighed.
You are correct, no monthly fees and no memberships. We are providing all FW/SW upgrades free of charge. We’re actually right in the middle of working through a major one as we speak…the primary reason why sales have not been reopened quite yet.
Keep an eye out for a status update early March from us!
      Thanks for reaching out.

Let's say it's cocktail and dinner hour only . Can I setup my up lights static in one color only, not triggering any other lights?

Yes. This can be done right now. Even better, we have a major FW/SW upgrade rolling out in a couple months that will offer tons of flexibility with static scene creation, we’ll beyond this straight forward example.
You will have all the features needed to get through every piece of a wedding: cocktail hour, dinner, bride/groom entry, first dance, cake cutting, etc., all of which may require customized static scenes with specific settings.

Hey Greg, do you have to adjust this setting every time you put on a show? Let’s assume we are moving the fixtures to different locations/shows.

      Hi Andy,
If you save your DMX Universe after adjusting your PAN/TILT settings then you’re good to go and will never have to go through that process again unless another venue requires another set of adjustments.
You can save up to 10 completely separate DMX Universe profiles on the Force 1.0 so you can always adjust your Moving Heads for multiple venues, if needed, and save off different versions of your DMX Universe profile (each with their own specific Pan/Tilt range adjustments).
