He changes them almost any song he sings in - except for Andromeda. Usually he sings the same changed lyrics in other concerts so we can (probably) guess he's just changing them. Some people say he changes them to prove he's not lip-syncing, and he's done it since Blur.
@@SaeurLoser I don't think it's to prove he's not lip-syncing. You could sing other lyrics in the studio and make it the backing track. He probably likes to switch things up sometimes to surprise the audience, or just because he forgets the lyrics.
Esker van de Werken Yeah, a theory I saw recently was that the lyrics he uses were probably previous iterations of the song - so he remembers them better as he probably wrote the original lyrics himself and then had them edited by other people

Looks like they gave him a CD. I am curious if its a demo of theirs and they hope he will listen to it. That would be cool if he took it knowing that and I wonder how often it happens. I know alot of bands try crazy things to get a demo in an artists hands... Even more so with the kind of power and reach Damon has.... But maybe its just for them to get an autograph and not sure how that will work out.
What happened here? Low energy, a lot of artist that they bring along were missing. Too much changing lirycs , almost as if he messed up. The whole vibe of the band was off. I've seen like 7 of their concerts they are amazing but this one was weird
