Nik treated Gia terribly during these episodes and for GH to have her forgive him so easily and have Nik and Liz gaslight her rightfully being upset is so upsetting to watch. They should of had Nik crawling and begging and WORKING to get her back…smh
I always thought that Gia is and was always Nikolas's one true love and that it was never Emily, Liz or anyone else. Gia was the one woman who really loved him despite his faults. I could never see anyone else other than Gia stand up to Helena. I also think Nikolas and Gia eventually had an equal partnership and I loved that Gia spoke her mind and was no damsel in distress.

@@nianikgia8432 I think that unlike the other women that Nikolas was ever in a romantic relationship with just accepted everything the way that it was without the thought that things could be better and he never really discussed his fears with anyone other than Gia and she always tells him that she will help but that in order to help he needs to be honest with her and he usually is outside of that storyline with Helena. Gia and Nikolas both have character growth and change in a positive manner when they are together and also manage to have some fun and to laugh. The worst thing for Nikolas was taking away Laura and Stefan from him because then he got stuck in one storyline with one damsel in distress after other.
The writers and the powers that be really don't let her do much other than be a damsel in distress and that Elizabeth's best storylines are with the original Lucky Spencer Jonathan Jackson.
Gia had every right to be angry here and Liz was too selfish and self absorbed to see that and that the difference is that Gia grew up and changed in a positive manner. I think that Liz was never allowed to have much ambition and that she's usually not allowed to do much and her best storylines are still with Jonathan Jackson. I think that Nikolas reached his breaking point here with Liz, Lucky and Laura and the Spencer family. Liz, Laura and Lucky should have realized that Nikolas is going to want a life with Gia where everything that they do isn't about the Spencers. I think that we will get our Nikolas and Gia reunion and I keep in mind that Gia has been mentioned a lot all of the sudden in the last year and that the powers that be managed to bring back Emmy winners Genie Francis and Jonathan Jackson so why not Gia too? I also think Nikolas really does need Gia now and there aren't a lot of people currently on GH but, I think that Trina can help Nikolas. I don't think that the powers that be are allowing Nikolas and Trina to have all of these connections for no real reason and I want Laura to be given more of a chance to be a grandmother and for Nikolas to be given a chance to be a more hands on parent.

Nikolas was 100% right when he told Liz it's okay when Gia and Lucky are the ones being lied to. But if the tables turn and it's Liz being kept in the dark she thinks that is unacceptable. I think he even said he has to run everything by Liz or Liz thinks what he does is wrong. This just proves Liz never thought Gia should matter to Nikolas. She and the Spencers should always take priority in Nikolas's life. And that is something Larua, Lucky, and Liz wanted Gia to accept and live with. That is why they lost their shyt when Nikolas started prioritizing Gia over them.
Telling Gia she’s “messing it up,” when she was trying to stop what she thought was a crime, is crazy. Elizabeth and Nikolas did way too much damage with this dumb plan. It stopped being worth it weeks ago (GH time weeks).
I like Emily but this is a great storyline where we actually see many of Nikolas's family members and this is the kind of love story that can be rewatched and still hold up well today and Nikolas and Emily just don't have that.

I like Emily but this is a great storyline where we actually see many of Nikolas's family members and this is the kind of love story that can be rewatched and still hold up well today and Nikolas and Emily just don't have that.
