I live in Springerville which is real close to where you guys were hunting. Nice bull! I killed my 5th bull last December in unit 1. A small 6X6 but good enough for me.

+Chris Holmes - I probably shouldn't have been laughing so hard. Larry had just finished a year of chemo and he was on a blood thinner. It took forever to get the bleeding stopped.
I didn't even feel mine, have a nice photo of me, an elk and blood dripping to the top side of my nose! As you said, Larry's certainly did bleed. Just makes for more memories in the old memory bank!
I have and Uncle Hal who's exactly the same way as Uncle Larry. It makes hunting sooo much fun

Man, it would be good to see Uncle Larry again. I haven't shot an elk yet because I want my first elk killed with a bow. Hopefully that will be this year. P.S. tell Uncle Larry "No sleeping on the job!!" :)
I'll tell him that. His drawing luck has been really terrible the last six years. He needs to get a lucky break.
