- Cessna U206G Stationair 6 II C-GQVN is seen taxiing and taking off from CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia. Love the Cessna 206 Stationair, these larger single Cessna general aviation aircraft are always a lot of fun to see and hear in action.
Thank you for posting this, I found this by fluke looking up 206,s. this plane is my fathers, he passed away suddenly this year and according to the log book this was his last flight from Creston BC to Nelson and back. Crazy it was recorded.
Hugs
Thank you for capturing this. You happened to catch my Uncle Johnny’s last flight before his passing. He loved his plane and loved flying. How special to see this and have this video of him doing what he loved. Rest In Peace Uncle Johnny ❤️
I love that loud Cessna sound so much, Jesse. And then the echo in the valley, great 👏👍👋
Thanks Volker! I love the sound of these larger Cessna singles as well. Always great to see and hear!
@@TheHDAviation Yes 😍
Jessie, another great video! You were at the perfect spot to catch the takeoff. The exhaust sound of the six cylinder engine and three blade prop are music for airplane fans. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching, I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed the video. This powerful Cessna single was a fun one to see and hear!
That rotation was perfect in front of you. Very beautiful footage, mate! Liked :)
Nelson Airport look like an aviation heaven! Incredible backdrop and tons of different types of aircraft coming in and out.
It's a great little airport for spotting, and I bet it's a fun little airport to fly in and out of as well. My only complaint is that it is a little bit too quiet at some times of the year.
RIP John Huscroft xo ty for treating me like one of your kids Sir.
Nelson looks pretty this time of year.
Ya, it looks great during the summer. Unfortunately the smoke has moved in now, hoping it will clear soon!
WOW such a great sound! Excellent footage my friend! Thumbs up ;)
This little Cessna did sound good! Thanks very much.
Thx you for your time in making this video for us in you tube land. Keep them coming Jesse. Nelson looks like a nice area to visit. Bye from New Jersey. ♥️😊🛫👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much Thomas, really glad you enjoyed seeing this 206!
O cessna 206 é uma aeronave muito essencial aqui no norte do Brasil. Faz quase que impossíveis. Uma das aeronaves mais lindas.
Nice, looks like the classic 1979 livery. And it has the bigger seaplane rudder too.
Very beautiful Cessna Stationair. The smart and decent livery is suits it well. Excellent video, Jesse!
Thanks so much Matt! This 206 was a fun one to see, love these large Cessna singles.
nice take off in this attractive little cessna and surrounded by beautiful landscape! thank you for sharing another great video!
Thanks Rob! This nice Cessna was a fun one to see. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Excellent video of this GA workhorse! The 206 rarely lets you down!
Love these "big" single piston Cessna sound. Great video mate 👍
Same here, these larger Cessna singles are always fun to see and hear. Thanks a lot!

Que máquina. Sin palabras !!! Hermoso video !!!
Unfortunately the owner/pilot from Creston passed away on Feb. 20, 2022 due to an accident (non-aviation) that should have NEVER happened, “REST IN PEACE” my friend!
Jesse my good friend, nice catch/video, the livery is simple but nice, these are very reliable planes
Thanks so much Steve, this classic Cessna was a fun one to see!
Nice video as usual.
Great video!
Thanks a lot!
nice catch
Nice sound!! Very similar to Cirrus SR-22, Beech Bonanza, and Cessna Corvalis sound!!
The 206 does have a nice beefy sound, wish I got to see more passing through CZNL.
Very well made.
Great capture.
Thanks a lot!
That livery looks pretty old school. Cool catch!
It really does look old school. Thanks, I was happy to catch this one!

Superb video mate, great camera work!
Thanks a lot!
@@TheHDAviation You welcome!
Nice catch big single engine Cessna. What is your altitude and length of runway?
This one was a fun catch, we don't see that many 206's passing through. The altitude is 1,755 feet and the runway length is 3,100 feet.
@@TheHDAviation thanks That’s how your airport handles the twin Beeches and bigger singles, low altitude. The view there is deceptive, I would have guessed 3k or higher.
