how the heck do these girls memorize dances in 2 days, and perform them in sync with good technique and facials, keep up with their schoolwork, while running on 4 and a half hours of sleep? these girls deserve way more credit, especially brooke since she was older and had more homework
To be fair I am much older than these girls, but was in this same boat my junior and sophmkre year of high school. I was often in dance class and theatre from the end of school to 9 or 10 PM, and all day Saturday too. I had a 4.0 in all honors classes so it is certainly possible, you just need really good time management.
Abby hated children who were attached to their moms because she isn't a mom herself period. That is a beautiful bond to have. The producers are pure evil and Abby isn't innocent either.
I think it's also because she didn't have a good relationship with her mom growing up, so she took some of that out on those who did have close mother daughter relationships.
Abby and Tammy's make up scared me the most. I really hope the producers arranged for it because there is no way someone could look in the mirror and think "yeah, I feel great going on National TV"
After finding out the real truth I would never want to be a cast member. A lot of these kids went through so much and although it may have been a choice to join doesn't mean they deserved the amount of trauma.
Some of the girls have spoken out about dealing with mental health issues after the show including Kalani (anxiety) and Lilliana (saying she was depressed on the show). I think thatd be interesting to explore the impact the show could have on the girls health.
ikr, and maddie has that panic attack so i’m sure she had high levels of anxiety and stress, and brooke was probably depressed too bc she was picked on a lot when she was there and that could explain why she was so “lazy”

can you do one where you look into if the season 8 auditions were fake or how fake they were? since the old team weren’t auditioned and the producers choose a lot of things i’d be interested to see how much the producers were involved with the season 8 auditions.
Not too hard none of them had anything that could stop you traveling even with drugs they weren't caught smuggling them in only selling and they most likely weren't class a probably a bit of dope hehehe I'm not sure tho I'm from UK not USA

Heres some things I would like uncovered: •How Abby trained the moms and kids to be reality stars e.g. telling Melissa to dress down for the first episode so she would be more relatable, giving the kids etiquette lessons, making sure Liliana was not 'the favourite' and turning her into the underdog to make her more of a Chloe character •The adults and kids mental health and how the show is still affecting them to this day (also whats the tea on kenzie's insta atm about her being racist??) I'm sure I have more ideas but I forgot lol
Of course, no one knew at the beginning of season 1 that this is what they were signing up for. You can see that as the show progresses and moves away from it's original documentary style, more of these techniques are used by the producers in order to create an even more drama-filled show.
Had I been a good enough dancer the producers would have LOVED me -I was really bad at remembering terminology -I had anxiety so I would probably cry a lot -I was close with my mom -I wasn’t the best at remembering my dances -I was immature -I was very naive (still am tbh) so it would have been easy to manipulate me But they wouldn’t have liked my mom because I think my mom is similar to Holly because she doesn’t fight and she really values education. My mom would also never have agreed to the show.
I’m emotional and I’m close with my mom but I don’t think I will be ever on the show even If I was an amazing dancer because both me and my mom are very nice people and we hate drama
I wanted to be on Dance Moms or Abby’s Ultimate when I was 12/13, and my mom always said she wasn’t going to play a crazy stage mom on TV and if I wanted a solo I’d have to yell at Abby myself 😂
I remember when DM cast the choreographer for Broadway Blondes. The guy and his sister had a reputation even before the show aired. I wonder if the producers knew. Supposedly, one of the first things Abby would ask candidates at casting calls was to sing. Which is odd as she is a dance teacher. I can’t dance at all, and not trying to sound snobby but had I auditioned for ALDC at around age 14 and she heard me sing Part of Your World, Abby would’ve been asking my mom “why isn’t your kid on Broadway already?” I mean, if you’re looking for dancers, singing ability shouldn’t be that important
My mum was a skating parents who stayed away from the rink as much as possible. She's also a child psychiatrist, and has the really annoying skill of staying super calm when someone gets angry with her(annoying for my brother and myself growing up). Don't think the producers would be a fan of her, although her being really calm in confrontation might irritate the other moms 😂
Can you do an uncovered episode on Paige, please? I've heard stuff like she used to be good before the show and the producers gave her bad costumes (like the pants ) and bad choreography and tried to make her forget her dance because they wanted her to fit a role.
Could you do a video talking about how they portrayed maddie and kalani as bullies in s4. They said that maddie and kalani told chloe she wasn't very good yet had no footage to prove this. They made it seem like maddie and kalani excluded people. Also how maddie lied to chloe supposedly but yet again no footage of this incident. I find it crazy that dance mums Australia is going to be a thing eww. My dance studio have versed Nikki Webster (the Aussie Abby Lee) at competitions and won many times and she can be so rude and she talks herself up, so this is definitely going to fuel producers and make some entertaining episodes (especially when I know most of the dancers that are going to be on the show.)
the producers would find my mum hard to rattle, as she is a secondary school teacher, in quite a tough school. her voice is naturally very loud, and they could use that loud voice as a misunderstanding, not quite getting her tone. also, as she is a secondary school teacher, she is very hard and firm- not angry and fiery. she reminds me of dr holly, but slightly different. she is very good at pretending to be nice to people she doesn’t like lol but, if the producers worked hard, they would realise that she will get cross, in a controlled, mannered way by stating facts (arguing as if she is debating) if someone says about women not being able to do stuff. one person we know said a while back that ‘women are too sensitive. it is just naturally psychological and couldn’t do certain jobs to a mans standards’ and she got really angry (but not like christi angry) i love my mum 😗✌️

I hate that the producers would purposely force cast members to do unhealthy things just to make more drama. And they're losing a lot of viewers by creating as much drama as possible too.
Can you do one uncovering stuff over the unaired dances from seasons 1-7? Like in season 1 there were lots of people put on break in different weeks and some scenes in episodes are out of place according to episode order. Like in one episode(don’t remember which) Maddie is put on break for a week and told she won’t have a NEW solo but later in the episode you can see her in the Acapella dress. In almost every episode of season one you can see one of the girls in a costume for a dance they never preformed on the show. And Lifetime won’t air some dances in clips like they did season 8 so what’s up with that? Plus, some scenes are weird to me, like in S5 E15 Mackenzie doesn’t compete in the group dance because she felt sick(I think) but she has an unaired solo...

Abby's pet peeve about dancers who don't want to be in class is fair, but in normal circumstances. For people on a show who have to dance all the time and aren't allowed to stop, she can't yell at them for it
and honestly sometimes people do what to be in class but are just tired. when i danced i was constantly exhausted and i had add which meant i would zone out often. so often i would be trying to suppress a yawn, getting yelled at for not being focused, or for picking at my nails and hair instead of looking at the teacher (which was due to anxiety, eye contact is hard for me and i also tend to pick at myself). so it sucked cause even though i did work hard i was seen as a lazy and not wanting to be there.
HONESTLY I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU FOR THESE SERIES AND EPIDODES because we DANCE MOM stans/supporters because we can see the reality behind the scenes This should be a Netflix series I would enjoy I and it will be suitable for everyone the commenter doesn't swear and THIS IS ALL FACTS !!!! I think an interesting topic would be timelines on the show. For instance pretending they don’t have as much time as reality. I was interested in this when Christi revealed that the bar scene in s1 wasn’t 5mins before they had to go onstage.
Had I been a dancer, I think I would have been exactly what the producers wanted. I’m a very emotional person and my younger sister is very volatile. She hasn’t had any issues telling people what she thinks since she was a kid. Our mother is also similar to the both of us. For reference, I’m two weeks younger than Chloe and my sister is a year younger than Kendall.
This is such a good one I would never think to ask this, but as soon as I saw the title I knew immediately I wanted to know. Although a differnt show to dance moms alex McCord a former real housewife has an entire youtube channel where she reviews reality tv and analyses it based on her experience as a real housewife and gives great insight to producer modeling. You might find it interesting and might help you think about other tricks producers may have used on dance moms.
So basically,Abby and the producers don’t choose you,they choose your mom.What a shame,imagine if Sofia stayed I bet she would still leave bcs her mom was uncomfortable when Abby yelled at someone,so probably a kid as talented as Sofia,the producers would kick them out cuz of their mom,that doesn’t like fighting.

the producers would find my mum hard to rattle, as she is a secondary school teacher, in quite a tough school. her voice is naturally very loud, and they could use that loud voice as a misunderstanding, not quite getting her tone. also, as she is a secondary school teacher, she is very hard and firm- not angry and fiery. she reminds me of dr holly, but slightly different. she is very good at pretending to be nice to people she doesn’t like lol
but, if the producers worked hard, they would realise that she will get cross, in a controlled, mannered way by stating facts (arguing as if she is debating) if someone says about women not being able to do stuff. one person we know said a while back that ‘women are too sensitive. it is just naturally psychological and couldn’t do certain jobs to a mans standards’ and she got really angry (but not like christi angry)

7:50 the producers probably did text the moms, I remember in one of the James Charles or Jordan Matter videos with the dance mosm cast one of the moms said she just got a text from a producer (as a joke to start fighting with another mom)

I hate that the producers would purposely force cast members to do unhealthy things just to make more drama. And they're losing a lot of viewers by creating as much drama as possible too.
Can you do one uncovering stuff over the unaired dances from seasons 1-7? Like in season 1 there were lots of people put on break in different weeks and some scenes in episodes are out of place according to episode order. Like in one episode(don’t remember which) Maddie is put on break for a week and told she won’t have a NEW solo but later in the episode you can see her in the Acapella dress. In almost every episode of season one you can see one of the girls in a costume for a dance they never preformed on the show. And Lifetime won’t air some dances in clips like they did season 8 so what’s up with that? Plus, some scenes are weird to me, like in S5 E15 Mackenzie doesn’t compete in the group dance because she felt sick(I think) but she has an unaired solo...

Abby's pet peeve about dancers who don't want to be in class is fair, but in normal circumstances. For people on a show who have to dance all the time and aren't allowed to stop, she can't yell at them for it
Yeah these girls were doing hours and hours of dance at this point of course they’re going to be exhausted and want to go home
and honestly sometimes people do what to be in class but are just tired. when i danced i was constantly exhausted and i had add which meant i would zone out often. so often i would be trying to suppress a yawn, getting yelled at for not being focused, or for picking at my nails and hair instead of looking at the teacher (which was due to anxiety, eye contact is hard for me and i also tend to pick at myself). so it sucked cause even though i did work hard i was seen as a lazy and not wanting to be there.

I think an interesting topic would be timelines on the show. For instance pretending they don’t have as much time as reality. I was interested in this when Christi revealed that the bar scene in s1 wasn’t 5mins before they had to go onstage.

Had I been a dancer, I think I would have been exactly what the producers wanted. I’m a very emotional person and my younger sister is very volatile. She hasn’t had any issues telling people what she thinks since she was a kid. Our mother is also similar to the both of us.
For reference, I’m two weeks younger than Chloe and my sister is a year younger than Kendall.
This is such a good one I would never think to ask this, but as soon as I saw the title I knew immediately I wanted to know. Although a differnt show to dance moms alex McCord a former real housewife has an entire youtube channel where she reviews reality tv and analyses it based on her experience as a real housewife and gives great insight to producer modeling. You might find it interesting and might help you think about other tricks producers may have used on dance moms.
