They are speaking about the come back of Lucia to Slovakia, to her roots and about how she is thankful, that her teacher has thougt her not only the singing, but also to laugh. You can see in the last moments of this just how much emotion she must have felt being back amongst her own people not many months after the iron curtain had been lifted. Look at the hands. They never leave her side. On the concert platform a true singer does not distract you with meaningless arm waving. Lucia Popp - a true singer!
