Pieter Cronje thank you Pieter! Namibia looking most likely at the moment, but I don’t think anyone knows when borders are going to allow leisure travels through! Otherwise maybe an epic SA Roadtrip!
Hi I've got a hammer bar sitting ready to go in my garage for my Fortuner. One question did you just wire the lights directly to factory wiring or fit supplied relays. Thanks in advance
Hi Martin, so glad you’re enjoying the content! It’s a Front Runner rack, they’re really brilliant can’t recommend it highly enough! SA brand originally but they have a global distribution now, where u based? (Also I’m not sponsored or anything so genuinely love it)
Thanks for the reply Tim. I'm based in Australia, I'm looking to get roof racks and after seeing how they look on your fortuner I think its a top contender. Thanks again!
G'day guys Love the content. I'm in Australia and just completed a lap of Oz last year in a Fortuner. She performed really well towing a 2 tonne van. Speaking from experience though, keep your eye on those roof racks with all that weight up there. I had less weight than you and my whole rack exited the vehicle doing a lot of damage on the way off.
Hey Tim. Just discovered your channel. Really awesome videography and commentary. U up there with the best. Enjoyed your moz trip. The hammer looks "sic"👌. Hope u left the name red and the stickers on the side👍. You'll have to wrap it soon. Btw a 👎to bianca for not helping you with the installation.😉😎😁
@@LostinAfrica oh okay thank you my friend I guess it'll be easy for me to install it myself after watching your video. I know it will take time but if you can do it with mo harm I can do it. Thank you so much from AUS❤
Hi Mudit, if you watch the Preparing for Mozambique video you will see a lot of what has been done subsequently. But we are over due a rig walk around video, and will be doing one soon!
Hey Dona, they’re “only” 265/65 R17. That’s 30,5”. I am looking to go up in size a little but hoping for a sponsor. Really big wheels aren’t suited to the type of cross continent overlanding we’ve built the car for. Unfortunately cause I love how they look! Haha
Hey, rims are 17”, tyres were 265/65, but recently upgraded to 265/70’s. The majority of our time is overlanding, so long distances on African roads, so the really big tyres that I’d love cosmetically and for the really technical stuff, are just not practical!
Looks insane! You’ve got the perfect colour combination with the blacked out grille
Thank you!
Awesome Fitment and Product mate! Thanks for the video, keen to see it out there soon!
Thanks Ed, think you didn't have one yet at that point?
Those time lapses are awesome !
Haha thank you, I do love me a timelapse!
Really enjoyed the Video especially towards the end with those images of the Furtuner
Glad you enjoyed it
Absolutely amazing 😍, I can’t wait for you guys to take us on a Botswana trip again or any trip !! Really enjoying the videos 🤗

Ooo joh wow yes SOUNDS AMAZING EITHER WAY 😍😍😍
Nice one Tim. Yes, yes and yes.
Oh yes!
Great vid, nice track 👍🏼
Thanks Jamal!
Any chance you still have that video they sent to you to help? This thing is difficult without proper instructions... lol
Bullbar moves seperate to the cab so you need a gap

Wired it directly, sorry I missed this comment, so sure this is irrelevant now.
Really enjoyed the video, keep them coming. Also what roof racks do you have fitted on your fortuner?

Can you do a video of all the modifications you’ve done on the Fortuner for overlanding
Yes sure, busy working on it. There have been a lot of changes since this video so need to catch everyone up!
@@LostinAfrica Thanks
Looking awesome Buddy! Think you should keep the Red 👍
I think so too!
Very very Amazing View, Good Luck, Greeting🙏
Thank you! You too!
Hey
Nice looking set of wheels.
Suspension lifted?
Yup! It was tough dog suspension at that point but has changed subsequently!
Hey mate. Can you do a walk around the parts of Fortuna
I keep meaning to and will soon promise!

Hahaha you’re right actually I hadn’t bought if that will give her a hard time! Thanks so much for the kind words!
Hello my friend got question to you. How did you go with the airbags ? Is their any wire you have to connect to the hammer bull bar?
I believe the fortuner sensors sit behind the bumper, but I’m not actually sure sorry. There was no mention of it and I didn’t run into anything.
