I spoke to the people at Hansshow to clear up the cost issue. Unfortunately their site is a little confusing. The $239 price that comes up initially is for the door trim if you have a M3. The dash kit is actually $587 (then the discount). Definitely more expensive but still half the cost of most other full dash replacement options out there and looks awesome. I wish their site made it more clear but I still stand behind the review and think it's worthwhile if you have the funds to do it...if not the covers from TopFit are a great cheaper alternative. Sorry for the confusion all!
I Ordered and did not select trim panel or door panel as it was the only way to get the $239 price. They sent me a message and said I needed to select dashboard trim panel option, now that adds another $348 on top of the 239. Not sure what the 239 is even for.

First I also do not like the wood trim, it just looks strange and out of place in the Tesla. That being said I don't get why so many people LOVE carbon fiber as if it's something magical; it's just a piece of fabric covered in resin or plastic. When I see anything in carbon fiber, I think that person probably paid way more than what that is worth just because they think carbon fiber is cool. Would be cool if they offered other options other than carbon fiber.
Good eye but that was actually the carbon fiber covers when I did the screen mount. I do occasionally batch shoot videos but this time I didn’t…I promise! 😎
We bought the cheap two part cover just because we've paid so much for the car, it's all we can afford atm. One day we'll get a proper dash replacement :)

Talked to a person in China for Hanshow, the price for the dashboard replacement is 587 before discount not 239. The 239 is only for door panels.
I hate the wood look also. Worst part is new M3 comes with wood door panel too.

The trim panel is an optional add on for the door trim if you have a newer MY. Ours doesn’t have it so we only did the dash.

Agree. I think of contact paper-like film ppl use on surfaces they don’t like. Looks cheap and dated to me.
