Do you notice any range depletion with any of the added weight from having so much in the car? I guess the weight of the frunk opener might be the heaviest thing(besides personal items).

from what I understand, there are double layers of carpets in the car, even as originals. and that the top layer is fastened with buttons much like you can see on a winter jacket or trousers
But the new (2023)Tesla Y extended range has the comfort suspension. Which is better than the initial one they released. Lowering would be nice though.
I don't have a screen protector on my mobile They seem to create a gray film and are not as transparent as the original screen. the picture thus becomes worse
I can’t believe someone would spend $600 to be able to have the frunk open automatically. Is it really that challenging to lift the feather light frunk lid open with as little as a pinky finger? Absurd.
I just want to say I am ordering the floor mats. I was also curious about Menards pricing and holy crap is he expensive. The quote I just got for full front PPF plus rocker panel and bottom of rear door, front 2 window tint with carbon ceramic, ceramic coating the entire car was under $4k and I love in PA. It would be at least $5500 here. Also the suspension should only be done after the warranty is up. I just saw another video of a Tesla owner having to pay $6k in repairs on their car because tesla said the suspension voided the warranty.
Unless they can prove by you splicing wires caused harness issues of the issue is with the harness, ecu... Never splice wires, not worth it. Even if, at the end, they didn't prove it you still had to go thru a mess
My favorite accessory was the floor mats! It's always used no matter what. I'm replacing the Dual Motor and getting them blacked out with also with the red underline. (I have the Y Performance) The black T's in the front back. I'm still in a dilemma between keeping a black T in the back or doing what you guys did - T E S L A! What you think?!
Don't do the suspension, The Tesla will revoke your warranty on the car if anything goes wrong underneath the car, and you will end up with thousands of dollars bill.
@@LockettTech Sorry but you are 100% WRONG If you use non TESLA parts like Suspension....You have voided the warranty on that part....Tesla looks for any reason not to repair your vehicle. Just give them a a call and ask them
@@shilver101you are correct. The OP had stated that it voids the entire cars warranty which is what I was correcting. It only voids the warranty for that specific part.
@@LockettTech The Tesla owner in question took the car to a EV specialist garage and they repaired the battery for $3000 even though Tesla wanted $20,000 to replace the whole thing.
@@allanrose3661 yikes. That owner should be careful. The only way to replace a battery is to hack their system which opens up a whole can of worms. I hope it works out for them. Interesting story though. Would love to hear more…
@@LockettTech It is kind of ridiculous to throw away a $20,000 battery for 2 or 3 bad cells. This is one of the things that puts me off from buying an EV. I will wait another 10 years for this technology to mature.

The suspension voids the suspension warranty only. The rest of the car is still covered by the original warranty.

If you need that many storage bins, you probably have too much stuff in your car.

This isn't correct and a HUGE misconception. Working on a video to explain this but you don't lose your entire warranty if you make any upgrades.

Not if they go bad within the 8 yr battery warranty. A new tranny/engine can cost just as much almost are only warranted for like 3 years.
