I watched this cover years ago and took inspiration from it, only just got round to posting my own video of it. thank you mark - this song got me into learning songs by ear

I'll tell you what's a shame. That a man with this sort of skill only gets 250 k views, while people with nothing more than pretty looks and vaguely good voices become famous.

The thing I love on every of your cover isn't really the music itself, but the way you enjoy playing. You seem like a kid appreciating what you're playing as it was the first time your hear the song.

Thanks, It's actually a very simple song that uses a repeated four chord pattern throughout.
It's actually quite simple to any pianist with some training. It's literally 4 chords that he breaks ups by arpegiatting and via other methods.

I had never heard such a beautiful cover
I walked into the chorus room at school for an audition for an event and I saw a seventh grader sitting there in the middle of the room on the piano. He didnt know I was there and I watched him play this almost exactly the way Mark does. I think he's watched your video. I just about died because it's been bugging me for days that I couldn't record him playing or find it on here but now I have and I'm flipping out.

I love this song from Imagine Dragons, but it's remarkable how it changes it to be played on a piano. It turns it from being aggressive and edgy and an in your face anthem, to being such a haunting and beautiful melody. Impressive and inspiring.
