A Meredith romance would have fit perfectly with the 3 life paths. Judy represents street kid, Panam the Nomads, and Meredith as the corpo's. And one way she could have helped us with the ending is maybe we help her gain a promenet position in militech and have her eventually help us in the end where she pull every string she possible can to form some sort of small off thr record strike force and invade Arasaka tower. She could easily do it under the guses of stealing information about mikoshi from Arasaka so militech can also get into the Secure Your Soul project.
Perhaps in support of your theory - if you attend Jackie's funeral in Act 2, you can pick up a gig from the Bartender at El Coyote Cojo involving his wife, which seems to support some of the elements of your idea (Sorry for being vague, trying not to spoil things for those that have missed it).
Saying that groupie is a younger Meredith is a definite stretch by going off of just the tattoos. Honestly, this feels more like reused assets for tats on another character model by the developers. Idk. I don't really see it, but it would have been cool to see more out of Meredith.
Well, just because assets aren't used doesn't mean they can't be implemented in the game in general. That's not a reason for exclusion. What I find more important is that these tattoos appear specifically in the Hammer scene, and that this NPC has a line of dialogue that doesn't really make sense in the current context.

If Meredith was meant to be that Samurai groupie, then I think the fact that Johnny nuked a city more than the sass he gave her might have been one of the reasons she decided to change her fate. If the end of the Rebel Path is terrorism, then my guess she decided her conservative parents were right about rock and roll and she went full American gun lover with a Militech career. :)
Nah, the groupie is someone different - you see both the groupie you've fixated on and the one from before you go on stage as Johnny (purple hair, blue/purple cybernetic arm) with Rogue when you go to visit her about Hellman in 2077. They are wearing exactly the same clothes as in Love Like Fire, too.
I do wonder what Ripperdocs are supposed to do if someone wants to mod in a new arm or leg and the organic limb had tattoos on it. I guess they're also skilled tattoo artists.
there's a possibility that the tattoo on Meredith's leg was never there to begin with, if I recall, the memories that V is seeing of Johnny's may be more far fetched than you realize. But I agree, that groupie has to be Meredith, it all fits too well
I think they just used the same skin model for different characters, I believe there are some Melmstrong with the same tattoo too. But the top is Panam the Latina version of Yennefer.

I'm not so sure those are tears on the skull. I've drawn skulls a few times and know that these would normally be crevices that travel from the connective tissue line on the eye balls and muscles surrounding them. You can see these crevices on actual skulls you can google. So maybe that detail is negligible. If I wanted to draw actual tears on a skull, I'd make them more obvious with a drip design that is unmistakable. It's a bit ambiguous on Meredith. 🤔 The rest of these possibilities bare very interesting thought provoking ideas, though. Thanks for sharing! 👍
Agreed, those crevices are called"suture marks", they are joints between the plates of the skull. The ones going down the cheek under the eyes is the "frontozygomatic suture". Zygo means "yoke" which the cheekbone kinda resembles.

XD I didnt see her fold you like a pretzel when you romance her as male V like she does when you do as a Female V.
Those are all the details we have about Meredith so far. The speculation revolves around her past. There are a few clues, which I discuss in the video, that suggest more was originally planned for Meredith. In the end, only CDPR knows the truth, like the thing Pawel Sasko mentioned, for example.
Am I the only one with a revealing clothed Meredith standing randomly at Corpo Plaza? Or did someone else also encounter her infront of the Militech gate at the south end of the round about? For me she was wearing her romance clothing. Maybe because this was the last outfit the game aplyed to her. I mean after that scene she basically dissapears fom the game, so there would be no reason for the game to change her appearance again. But I have no clue why the game spawned her there now... Unrelated to that, I had a similar glitch with BugBear, were she would get loaded in her lying position (from when we placed her into the car) at Charter Hill below the building where you had the "until death do as apart" quest, together with some other junk and even a bandit once. (I guess this is the world center or the 0,0,0 coordinate point. The wold map even shows a little hexagon at the line grid at this position) I had to use a noclip mod since the game was showing me some out of place loot and map marker icons for this position and I wanted to know what it what and how to acces it. Turned out it was just stuff floating in mid air. I assume the game failed when trying to give these items some proper positioning data. But how our beloved netrunner ended up floating there ... I don't know. I could even pick her up and carrx her through the world afterwards. But since she did nothing but laying whereever I put her down, I threw her back into the abyss, where I got her from. Just that this time she fell out of the world. (I wonder if the game still loads her and how much time I have left until she falls so far out of the world that the game crashes every time it tries to load her position, rendering my entire save broken.) But enough about BugBear. I wouldn't be surprised if both are just a result of me having altered the game too much with over 10GB of mods so that it is kinda broken now. Or it's a result of me having played this run for over 200 hours now and the game begins to struggle loading all this progress. (Reminds me of TW3 where the light engine start to break down, if you skip 7 ingame years, just to see a character die from a curse.)
TLDR: this was because mods and OP not knowing what he's installed anymore. My guess was it was an npc mod to increase crowds or one that reduced doubles of npcs spawning in the same cells.
