The part that you indicated about them injecting comedy into a such intense video was showing someone that looks like Sabastian Bach, who ripped into Ronnie on social media when FIR cancelled a concert because the laptops that had their backing tracks ended up at the wrong venue. That part of the video was Ronnie's way to getting back with having the image of Sabastian being hit by falling laptops. Great reaction by the way. Loved watching your expressions while absorbing the video and then your deep dive into the lyrics.
This masterpiece has strong references to his other videos, especially "Popular Monster" and "Voices In My Head", two videos that focus on mental health.
I’m going to make a recommendation for a band strictly based off of your sense of humor. Electric Callboy - Hypa Hypa. Now, this is not a band to breakdown psychologically nor are their lyrics deep or thought provoking. They are pure fun & their videos are hilarious. A German band, who occasionally do sing in German, but mostly sing English. I think you will love their vibes. Rock on 🤘🏼
Once more a wonderfully insightful, passionate, and balanced reaction. I really enjoyed it and got lots of food for thought. This must be the ultimate diss track!
Wow, you´re good! I really enjoy you´re psychological point of view, very interesting. You are so charming and fun to listen to and watch. Apart from that -Falling in Reverse is the best band I have Ever come acrossed and see you react to my favourite band is really putting a smile on my face :) Well done!
Just as you broke down the lyrics for understanding, I did the same with what you t😅alked about at the end of the video. Everything you said, I absorbed. So refreshing how you see and speak so much information that opens up a clarity to such complex issues. Thank you!
You should have done "Voices In My Head" first to get the way he connects his music from Zombified to now. Even before Zombified to now. It's crazy good.
I disagree that there has to be any specific order, but it'll be cool to know going in if she does Voices in My Head later on to look for those tie-ins.
I think you would really enjoy the Lorna Shore Pain Remains trilogy. It was written by one of the band members who was going through a death in the family and he wrote a trilogy describing the emotions he was going through. AMAZING three songs.
I soooo love your, "What in the unicorn farts?!" commentary. I always smile when I hear you say it. Honestly I couldn't understand most of the song. I'm too old to keep up with this one, I had to look up the lyrics to understand the song. But once I did... wow! They are amazing! "I actually battle my demons and shadows, They swim in the deep and they creep in the shallows, I'm lost" I can relate to this so much it literally hurts. Old retired solder "literally", not young opposite of literally "literally". I had to medicate, I use THC to stave off my PTSD, after reading the lyrics.
I just found your channel and I was like, "I need to see if she reacted to Watch The World Burn, because her mind is going to be BLOWN." I'm so glad!!!
I think he addressed the religion stuff subtly in the scene. I believe it is addressing organized religion, not necessarily God or belief in a higher power. When he says watch the world burn, you will notice that it is the priest and the cross that burn, but the Bible remains unharmed (until the rest of the world burns at the end I guess). I think you hit the nail on the head when you point out the corruption in faith being used to control and manipulate.
I remember somewhere somebody explaining hate and love as not opposite ends of a spectrum but rather the beginning and end of a circle. Hate and love require the same amount of emotional investment. Since a circle is without beginning or end, the beginning and end have to be the same point.
New subscriber here. I’d love to see your take on I’m not a vampire revamped. I have never seen such an intense depiction of addiction from the addicts perspective and how it overflows on to those that love an addict. Love your channel.
I love that subversion of timing. One of the best songs I can use as an example is the Deadmau5 track "Strobe". The first drop is in rhythm, in tempo, technically out of tune(reverb wall) yet entirely in the pocket. That is a rave sound. Used perfectly. The second drop is right on the one of a 4/4...and it drops HARD. Seriously.
Falling in Reverse's song "Voices in my Head" (song/video made after Zombified but before this song) would be a great next reaction. Ronnie stated as he is getting older, hypochondria causes him some anxiety. This song delves into this. AND it's a banger!!!
I think when when he changes into a demon he isn't changing into a demon but a vampire and the imagery is more like what you would expect in the move Underworld. The first part is a continuing reference from the video Voices in My Head that want him to kill and the two pilots are dead and a bomb is activated with 16 Seconds. The double time bars are a flex where he gets to fall in revers from the plane. Then a obvious Order 66 Star wars feel and look with a Darth and Disney Reference. I can't leave out the Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) laptop reference.
Ooh, this might be the quickest I've gotten to a video of yours, and I am STOKED! Will check in as thinks occur to me and after the video. 4:00 - Yes, Ronnie does everything.
Hi Rosalie, I really love these reactions. I discovered your channel not too long ago and I really love these type of videos. I highly suggest the song I can't believe I died by Sik World. I think it would suit the channel pretty well Much love from Romania (:
Ronnie is seriously portraying Jesus over turning the tables in his father's house here. On their devices in church when they should be respectful and lost in the silence of God within themselves. Epic. song.
The Ego, the Id, the Shadow and the Collective Unconscious. (The part of the self that actively parses the human experience, the instinctual element of the human experience, the aspect of one's self that is hidden from the Self, and the meme connection across cultures, spaces and time.) Ego, Id, Shadow, Collective unconscious. I am fairly certain that is close to the correct explanation of Carl Jung's axioms as they intersect with the work of sigmund freud(and ironically: richard dawkins. Because Sir Richard Dawkins applied evolutionary biology to the concept of sociology and specifically: memes. In some ways, he quantified some Jungian concepts.
You have to go back into the band’s history a little bit to understand some of the Easter eggs. The band had to cancel a show because somehow their laptops were lost in transit. Sebastian Bach from Skid Row was very vocal about it. In the video they drop a bunch of laptops on “Sebastian”. I love the bits that you have to know to catch.
I wasn’t exactly sure how to interpret the end either. He basically says in his song “drugs” that he disagrees that God is real. Also talking about people twisting the word to push their agenda, sounds exactly like today’s politicians. Great breakdown,,,
In some ways that is a result of nihilism perhaps. Nietzsche said very explicitly that: "God is Dead" and then tried to explain why. Karl Marx called religion the "opiate of the masses". Germans created nihilism to a degree. And there is value perhaps in that form of analysis. Russian existentialists then argued something that wanted to be an antidote to nihilism. And in a single sentence, that is maybe: "Beware the death of gods; and choose your new gods carefully." They fought over that concept. Greatly. Millions died as god was replaced by governance. Existentialism goes far beyond that, yet that is hopefully a single bar form of an introduction to the intersection of german nihilism/marxism and russian existentialism. The story does not stop there. Shoutout to the french and brits and some americans for enlightenment. And then shoutout back in time to Voltaire, who was basically just heavy metal nihilism with the precursors to enlightenment. *This comment was brought to you by unapologetic bias*
Great reaction! You should really dive into this rabbit hole of Falling in Reverse. Ronnie Radke is a genius! Watch the following: Popular Monster Voices in my head The trilogy in this order: - Losing my mind - Losing my life - Drugs Also his two old songs and the new remakes: "The Drug in Me is You" followed by "The Drug in Me is Reimagined" which is a complete reimagining of the old song. "I'm Not a Vampire" followed by "I'm Not a Vampire (Revamped)" which is also a complete reimagining of the old song.
ok I am so happy right now FIR and Ronnie Radke is one of my favorites I am so glad that you did this reaction I wont hit you with all the great songs that you should check out by them I am sure everyone else that like them will do that I will tell you that he is very versatile and he really is a special artist thank you fo this wonderful ride today as always your ride or die forever EyyyyOoooo
Man this suprized me when I saw you react this wow ok but anyway, I think another song you might like to react to is either depression from ren or anxiety by Jake hill, both very good songs with deep meaning I think you’d like
When I watch this video, it seems like a progression from start to finish. He talks about his mental health. He references his haters and then the industry, the snakes in the grass who are looking to strike at any moment and make him prey. He jumps up from the pit to the higher ground and states that he won't play their game and will mind his business. Thats when it progresses to the Star Wars scene where he is asking for positive energy because he's getting a little too worked up and can feel his triggers starting to go. Then it goes the the scene with the demon; the demon is typing what he is saying and it can be seen as a stenographer but I think it's meant to be that the demon is telling him what to say. They stand up and they're saying the same things and it send him back to reality where he says he can't control it anymore. He continues from there in the church, being exorcised as he's saying the heavier stuff, he drops the bomb "everything they taught you was a lie" and the chaos happens. He Is the one delivering the message to free yourself thus starting the fire that makes the world burn. People are going to see him as a villain but the world will burn as people start to free themselves.
The church scene was an attempted exorcism, notice the priest burns but not the bible itself. Apparently ronnie became disillusioned with organized religion. The opposite of love is apathy or indifference.
If one enjoys music like this, I would imagine one would enjoy bands such as "The Mars Volta" and "The Fall of Troy". Edit: or something far more heavy, like Slayer.
Have you done Blind Guardian - The bard's song & Valhallo live Wacken 2016? You speak German, stimmt's? As a German you probably know Blind Guardian then.
In a Tom Macdonald short , he says him and Ronnie are friends and have been talking to each other about a collaboration, I would blow a fuse with that actually happening an album with tom macdonald and Ronnie radki, oh my God.
Beat the curve - next check out Extreme (yes that band, ''more than words) NEW EPIC in freakin' credible song with hook that will not leave you and guitar virtuoso solo.. can't ruin it. Extreme - Rise it is THE hit of the year
Very nice reaction You should definitely do popular monster next Then voices in my head, the drug in me is reimagined and I’m not a vampire revamped Oh yeah and the trilogy losing your mind losing your life and drugs. Thanks really enjoyed it
Radke poses his opinion here about where the world, or better humanity, is going at, and it isn't any good, so maybe there is an extinction at hand which could possibly reset everything! Maybe drastic but who knows...? I myself don't think he's only talking about himself, I think it's much wider than that! He spent time in prison and he says about that time that it opened his eyes, not of his own person, but of the world! Inside he had the time to see the world change at an alarming rate and not for the better, afterwards he said "I was in two years and when I came out the world was ten years further, but down the drain!".
You should react to Lorna Shore's "Pain Remains" Trilogy. There are three songs that tell a story and it is a masterpiece. If you do, make sure to watch it with the lyrics near by.
Omg you haven't done The Drug in Me is Reimagined ( ruclips.net/video/vh0SWTVwXxw/видео.html ) or I am Not a Vampire (Revamped) ( ruclips.net/video/B2cbhYihBWY/видео.html )?? You're in for some BIG surprises. These two really showcase how insanely musically talented Ronnie is.
quantum physics - Dr. John Hagelin - Is Consciousness the Unified Field? - RUclips Video - proof of what and is "God" - The self - Genesis 1:26-27 - created in the image of god
that 'comedy ' part was, made to look like a laptop falling on sebastian bach , due to his comments when f.i.r had to cancel a live show due to their laptops neded forvthe show were stolen..
I really enjoyed your reaction. I think you had a very good bead on everything until the end when I believe there was a bit of a personal filter on the interpretation instead of an objective one. Perfectly reasonable to transpire. But having been on and administered religious debate forums for many many years I have heard a large portion of arguments on both sides of the debate. And the notion that bugs me about what you said when you talked about the incomprehensibility of a god is that if its so incomprehensible then there is no way to know it is even possible. It just means thinking you know anything about this supposed deity is astronomically a shot in the dark. Logically configuring this stance the existence of a turtle with roller skates that dances to 80s tunes to create the universe is just as probable in that framework. Yes I understand Ronnie is coming from a place of pain and disillusionment with the so called No True Scotsman of religion because corruption seems hardwired in the overall nature of human culture that someone will eventually take such things to their selfish advantage but none of this makes this god person anymore feasible than any other wild assumption because by your own omission, it is impossible to even comprehend or measure. Meaning you can't even know if there is something to measure. So there is absolutely no way to even have a good assumption at all. And since all of what we do see and can measure in our universe pales in comparison to the design we ourselves could produce for the sake of efficiency as well as survivability it seems our limited intelligence can somehow conceive of a much grander design or even use of such powers as a god if only we could. The existence of a god especially an Abrahamic one may be unfalsifiable on both sides but an observation of what we can observe that in most religious traditions is the handiwork of sed god, it is easy to dismiss this idea that anyone more intelligent than us would have ever decided that all of this natural order was necessary. And by that I don't mean that life is meaningless or worthless but there are tragedies and atrocities that exist that make no sense at all. Not even to a god because I don't know about you but if I were omnipotent and omniscient and was about to create everything in the universe? I would have just decided not to because it would be the most efficient way to save everyone the trouble of those atrocities or I'd just use those powers of omnipotence and omniscience to come up with a better design that I know would pan out better. If children never died needlessly then you could have a stronger argument for this impossible to comprehend deity that seems to either be powerless to change, unsure what the result would be, or indifferent to the suffering of his own supposedly loved creation. If that god exists. You better believe I will use that free will he gave me and he and I are gonna have some words before he sends me straight to hell where I know I will be better understood.
I gathered that he was a false idle, raised up and praised by society and turned out to be the anti christ Also I love how he adds things like the laptop falling on the guy ( who was supposed to be Sebastian Bach - Google it for context)

If you're amazed at Ronnie's versatility in those two songs you need to listen to 'The drug in me is Reimagined' and 'I'm not a vampire Revamped'.
"WHAT IN THE UNICORN FARTS?" BEST LINE YET GURRRRRRRL

Ronnie doesn’t have a genre, he IS a genre
When you asked if he could rap at the beginning, all I could think was, "Just wait." He truly surprised me with this one too.
OMG that Build and Drop on "Watch the World Burn" genius!

Your excitement in this is amazing, Great reaction 😍
6 words: "The drug in me is reimagined" .
You will have goosebumps all the song!
The voices in my head has a crazy beat switch you’ll love it!
For me it seems like Ronni sings more about the rage and anger that depression and mental illnesses make you feel when you are in the thick of it.
I really didn't expect you to like this, but you really will give everything a chance!
Mind.Blown.
Wooooh Fire reaction Rosalie! FiR is such a great band! Ronnie is the handshake we need between hiphop and metal!
Ronnie talking alot of mental health in his songs, and he's songs have helped alot of people who struggling with me tal health and addiction.
Yesssss…I was hoping you’d do this vid!! I can’t wait!!!
I’ve been eagerly waiting for this one!! I’m haven’t even started it yet and I’m super EXCITED!!!
The rock falling on the zombie, wasn’t that a Sebastian Bach reference/poke 😂🤣😂🤣
laptop falling

Been waiting for this one. Watch The World Burn makes for the best reaction videos
I love that you watch JP Sears that’s awesome
Great job. "I'm Not a Vampire (Revamped)" next, please! 😃
Love the symbolism at the end
Voices in my head, next. Love the reactions, Rosalie
Love your reaction
When you think you hear the drop, then, the drop came👌
I love that subversion of timing.
Seriously.
Rosalie Loved ur reaction I’m subscribing
This was awesome to watch live, just saw them perform in Edmonton
Ronnie killed it live
I think u should check out Blue October - "Fear." They are an incredibly introspective band. Keep being a rising tide!! 🚢
I can't leave out the Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) laptop reference.
@4:00 “Same guy right?”

he had a beef with Sebastian Bach about laptops, so he just threw a laptop on a Sebastian Bach lookalike lol
He goes em flow

I gathered that he was a false idle, raised up and praised by society and turned out to be the anti christ
Also I love how he adds things like the laptop falling on the guy ( who was supposed to be Sebastian Bach - Google it for context)
