Ive found my dream kit and detail up kit i hope to get these in the some what near or distant future as ive been wanting to scope out a decent size bismarck
Some of the kit would add great authenticity, but did the Bismark really have brass guns and radio masts ? Are the guns and masts a 'detail up' or 'pimp up' ? Look pretty, but is it really AUTHENTIC ? What do you and your viewers think ? Regards, John
@@mrzzgo0ro0na The metal does have superior detail to plastic , but personally I'd paint the parts as appropriate.. I see many finished and displayed models of the ships bristling with shiny brass and it just doesn't do it for me. But hey, each to his own ...

One is this one item number 66602 and the other one is item number 27001F1 advanced. The second one is $ 80 more expensive than the first one. it is worth buying the second one? What do you think about them? (difference, difficulty to build, etc) Thanks a lot.
Possibly the most dissapointing kit i have ever bought It needs the upgrade kit which is more than the original kit Superbly packed - but that hides how little there is in the kit Upgrade kits looks superb but why is it not included or mentioned in the Sales Blurb Will be ordering the new Amato Bismarck when get my refund from Amazon
It’s not included because it came out much later than the kit itself I would presume…it’s a very deep rabbit hole that can be gone down with this kit…this is where I draw the line though lol

The brass definitely adds authenticity to the model as they are more scale accurate, precise and stronger than the plastic parts

Not that I know of but I’ll check lol…ne a kool addition to add if not lol
those instructions are much more detailed than the regular ponto's kits. I wish i could find those instructions somewhere.
