After a long time of realizing that I no longer care if there is Hu tao in the team or not, I won't let two others and me die just because someone wants to cause more damage
As a hu tao main, i can say for a good amount of people that any healer is really good and important. Because of her playstyle, healing as well is really important. So, if you do use healer, don't worry. Atleast hu tao will do some kind of damage, even if it's low.
Few days ago i was in a random co op for raiden and i was the host and a kokomi user joined and start healing everyone , and then ig they saw i was using hutao and they panickly chat “IM SORRY I DIDNT SEE YOUR HUTAO” and i’m there waiting for everyone to be ready like ??? So i replied “oh no! Domt worry about it i’d rather be healed then die so pls heal me” and someone else replied “i dont think they’re toxic” and its sad to see that some players genuinely panicked cause they thought hutao mains hates healers , i’d rather actually surviving the domain than die midway😅 , like ik some players also heal hutao players cause they think we hate it and that idea is funny to them but to ke i’m just thankful that you’re healing my hutao so i wont have to waste all my statue of 7 heals 😅
I actually love it when Kokomi heals my hu Tao, even if she does less dmg Kokomis heal is so good I won’t die And it’s better to do a bit less dmg and stay alive then die

I honestly could care less if a Hu Tao main complains about having a healer on the team in co-op. I see a lot of Hu Tao mains say they’re okay with being healed, but for the ones who hate it, I’d say they’re out of luck lol Co-op is a team effort, and so if the team needs a healer, then they should use a healer no matter who’s in the party. Might sound mean, but if that’s what helps the team not need to restart then they either shouldn’t complain or find a co-op group who doesn’t need healers
i play hu tao and while i try to avoid unnecessary healing, at least i don't bitch about getting healed 😭 a surprising amount of hu tao players hate getting healed and while i prefer to avoid it (mostly) it's not that big of a deal
All I do when I use Hu Tao in co op is I use the food gadget and if my hunger is full and my health is low I burst. I really don't mind the healing though since it's for the best.

When someone use Hu Tao in team I like use Barbara cause she can control her outgoing healing. She can hold Hu Tao at around 30% - 40% hp and only over heal if another teammate takes damage. When I play as Hu Tao and receive too much heals, I try to intentionally get hit by the boss. When dealing with strong bosses like Raiden I can temporarily get under 50% hp even when there is a Kokomi.
as a hu tao main I honestly dont get why hu tao mains hate being healed. I get the pyro dmg bonus but like... If you have her built right she'll be doing good damage eitherway? idk about them but id rather have an ever so slightly weaker hu tao than a dead one

Meanwhile that hutao was very far away from Raiden boss running in circles. Like bro tf are you doing, helps us out here. Raiden boss attacks are very easy to dodge, its not hard. If they have zero dodging skills, why bother to bring hu tao and not attack at all? All of the hutao mains I've seen are pretty toxic ngl.
I’ve personally never come across any toxic ones that I can remember anyway. I still get kinda worried when I see one though, but hopefully it’s just a very loud minority
If I join and a Hu Tao dislike my barbara I will switch to Noelle, I just don't wanna die, but at least my Barbara's bubble pops 19k while my Noelle just do 1k per attack :,D yes, my Healer deal more damage.
i know hu tao mains need to lose hp to deal damage, but hear me out. what if a player happen to be a healer? what they do is healing and damage won't be that great cause build may not be made to do dps. that healer needs, no, the healer MUST keep you alive to finish the domain in time or for you to carry them and not extend the fight for too long. if i were the healer i'd rather keep you alive dealing less damage than spend an extra 10 minutes or more in a boss fight or have to retry the domain
if there's no healer she mostly stays back till the boss is stunned cuz her hp is always at critical, while others are either dishing out the damage or staying back as well since it's risky without healer. so she literally puts a burden on the whole team at that point. better to switch.

Healers like Kokomi and Bennett usually place their skill/ult near the boss to heal the ppl in the team who need it. In such cases, its your responsibility to avoid being healed (like staying away from the jellyfish/Bennett circle).
