I am Sikh from the UK. The sikhs that have come to study and work here in the UK have taken over the Gurudwaras and all sort of Gunda giri is going on. They have removed pictures of Sikh Gurus and put up pictures of bindrawala and amritpal and their gang members. This is the case in 95% gurudwaras because they gang up with local sikh gunda sikhs. What gives them that right. They are spoiling the name of the sikh community. And they behave similar outside the gurudwara. This is a world wide Punjab sikh problem. Will they ever become civilised.

In Canada, it's a problem that we've made it far, far too easy for people to move into the country en masse, and this has resulted in large enclaves populated by demographics who are making little to no effort to integrate into Canadian society. There are just too many for this to happen... thanks to our government.

Views I have heard - Those who build the nation will always want best for their nation, and deserve the best of their nation. Indians don't want to build India but want to go and enjoy the good facilities build by other countries. And it's my own experience with some immigrants from other country, however I do agree that new Indian immigrants do not want to adopt the culture, we came 12 years ago and adopted but when we try to explain this to some students, they laugh on us and clearly said they don't care.

I recently saw a video of three Indian students who were doing their first landing in Canada. They bought alcohol from duty free and opened the bottle and started to drink in the international flight. This is not legal, but they made everyone in the flight uncomfortable, they themselves stated in the video that people in the flight are feeling uncomfortable and started to laugh. If this culter is being taken to Canada what will happen? They are popular youtubers.

I am an immigrant who has lived in Canada for almost 24 years. It was a wonderful country that we enjoyed when we arrived here. It has suddenly changed totally in the last few years, resembling an Indian area. When we arrived here, we accepted and loved Canadian culture, from which we learned a great deal. Now, Indians want to bring their culture to this country and be proud of doing all those nasty things openly. My Canadian-born children are unemployed; even after completing a university degree, they are unable to obtain positions at Canadian Tire or Walmart since these jobs are all dominated by Indian students, and one student is doing at least 2-3 jobs. In that way, one Indian student is essentially displacing three Canadian-born students from their professions. Trudeau and his advisors are completely ignorant; they have damaged this country, actually destroyed this beautiful, peaceful, and resourceful country. Everything is short here now, even roads, buildings, schools, parks, beaches, groceries, etc.

@@Gurminderdeep Canadian born kids, after obtaining a degree from a university and seeking related field positions, however Indians get hired for these positions because the government imported them as "skilled" workers, even though locals were more educated and skilled than the imported ones. Local degree holder kids are then forced to find for jobs at retail stores to struggle to earn some living in their very own country, but again, these types of jobs are filled by another layer of Indians, this time by so-called international students. I hope this clarifies why I mentioned earlier that my Canadian-born children are unable to secure employment even at retail stores such as at Walmart etc. Still Curious?

I think they should take a pointer from Gujarati's they emigrated all over the world and my forefather's came to Africa and became part of African's but still kept their Indian culture but not imposing of the locals , I myself came to UK and very proud to call my self Indian British even thou born in Africa , adept to the country you go to , that is the power of Gujarati's.

I've seen this in a Walmart plaza in Richmond Hill.
Speeding in the parking lot in circles, in a Toyota Corolla with the loud Punjabi music blaring at full blast as though it's the next best thing since sliced bread.
There were families with kids all trying to hold on to their kids so they don't get run over.

You are not being biased at all. It is called having respect and dignity for yourself, your home Country, and the Country you are visiting. Everyone should have respect. If they don't, then they should be fined or deported for their disgusting behaviour in Canada. If they are white or whatever colour they are. Fine them, or deport them back to their own Country.

My parents have been in Canada since 90s and i was born and grew up here. We are not an Indian by birth nor parents are Indians. Would love to give you some feedback. I have seen Canada going through drastic changes . Over the years, Canada always maintained inclusivness, open society and most importantly welcoming the immigrants.
The problem became real when Canada lost the sight by welcoming large numbers of non-skilled immigrants and bringing influx of refugees to this country. That is without having to study and analyze whether Canada can in fact host such immigrants. We now have not only house shortages but also job shortages as well. Our children who are locals cannot find a job because you see the international students lining up for the same jobs.
And yes, once one of these international students are hired as a manager, they only bring their friends and rommates to their place of work.
The point of international student was to study and going back to your country of origin so you can grow your own local economies. Hence they face hate and negative reaction from local Canadians.

I am born, brought up in Punjab ,can read and write Gurmukhi but settled in New Delhi .When I immigrated to Canada I faced frowns from my own community simply because I did not belong to any village in Punjab.I used to be asked a simple question "which village do you belong to" and they behaved differently when told that I am from New Delhi.So what would you call this ?

Rather than try to mask the true issue with calling everything "hate" why don't we accept that Indian student's have generated a bad image. The actual issue is that the previous generation of Indians were hardworking who valued privilege when they first arrived. The current students aren't hard workers; there are groups of 12th pass and groups of over 30 year old "students" who didn't have any other goals in life besides "Canada," without ever having any work experience in India. Previous generation didn't turn Canada to India. Using the justification that there are no jobs in Punjab the money you are paying to travel to Canada can simply be used to start a business back home. It's pure laziness at this point.

I’m going to be straightforward with you- it’s the governments fault, but the mass immigration is putting an enormous strain on our country, and we are seriously suffering for it. I’ve lived in Toronto for 10 years, the most diverse city in the world, and personally I’ve always liked people from India. The problem is, we DO NOT have the capacity and our culture is suffering. I don’t even recognize my own home and country, it’s so sad. The people who came here were not vetted, at all, and crime has skyrocketed. The people who came here have no idea what Canada used to be like, but it’s not the Canada of today. From 2000-2014 we accepted 250k people. In just 4 years, we’ve accepted 2.2 MILLION, and on top of that, we’re dealing with inflation, a housing crisis, poverty/homelessness, and the mass immigration is a nail in the coffin for our once beautiful country.

Don't considere racist or judgmental but after living in Canada for 6 years I can tell you most of the hate Indians get is due to people that came here in last 2-3 years. Mostly coz of some of them not integrating in the culture, not speaking the language of land, not dressing properly, not practicing hygiene, trying to bring religious beliefs everywhere and not trying to assimilate with locals.

My Indian housemate used to wash his bottom with water and made the entire bathroom wet. Then we told him not to, then suddenly from the next day, the entire house started to stink like poop. Later we found out that he started to wipe with tissue, but instead of flushing them, he used to keep those wiped tissues in the trashcan under the basin, under the kitchen sink, trashcan in his room, literally everywhere in the house. God knows why. These people are unreal.
