This was the episode I started to realize that they were developing a relationship between Rusty and Gus. Didn't see that one coming!!! Thought they were aiming for Rusty/TJ. Anyway, he only "mostly" responded to Gus' texts as he told Sharon and Gus later mentioned them possibly being "too forward." I figured if that was meant in a romantic way that's another reason Rusty avoided Gus and didn't tell Sharon. I was right too. Another big clue for me was when Gus took Rusty's hand during an emotional moment in court and he was uncomfortable.
i really dont understand why Rusty is allowed to roam around the detective work area. shouldnt it be out of bounds, irregardless of whether or not he is sharons would be adopted son..

jessie james Rusty have been hanging around there since he was a kid. The people working there probably just see it and have accepted it as a habit.
