Da brividiiiii musicisti che rimarranno nella storia x sempre una chitarra un basso e un batteria senza effetti ne elettronica niente solo eccelsa bravura ...anni che mai più torneranno ..
Saw then at East Ham town hall in 1966 before they got really famous. Stood right at the front of the stage. Eric bumped into me as rushed in the building. Magic evening!!!
969 - I was in 9th grade in the south. My sister was at college in New England. She brought a Cream album home to me and said, "this is what you should be listening to."
Mark Miller: you’re not alone. I’m 51 and just happened to watch a documentary about Ginger Baker last week. I never really cared about Cream but watching this gives me a whole new perspective. I mean, they broke up when I was 1 and you weren’t even born yet. We had other music priorities!
Jeez!! The energy these 60 year year olds showed on "Rollin' and Tumblin", (not to mention their swing and time) is just amazing to witness. I'm and old fart who was lucky enough to see them back in San Francisco late '60s, and they may have lost a step, but it's a baby step!! Three of the greatest!
Another genious has left us. RIP Ginger, Jack, John, John, Jimmy, Jim, Janis, Chris, Joe, Duanne, Jimmy Ray, Keith, Rick, Ronny, and the many others that Truely changed the world with their genious. What a band and party awaits on the other side. See you at the crossroads!
what a privilege what after 45 years as tight as ever ,,the smiles on their faces they were enjoying every bit of it ..three fantastic musicians generating off off one another and of course the audience ..
Mr. Peter Edward Baker I pray your family will find comfort now that you have moved on. Mr. Baker the gift you were blessed with was used greatly & blessed & inspired myself & many, many others. Mr. Baker you fought the good fight & we are so blessed you did & gave to us all your best.
What a great concert. Each of these musicians still has it. For anyone who thinks Eric's best days are long gone, needs to watch/study this video again and again. Eric can still play with the best of them. Jack Bruce was amazing as always. I was pleasantly surprised Ginger Baker got his chops back for this concert. All three of them are still legends. This was an incredible concert. And finally a quality visual/audio record of the event that we can watch again and again.
Every song iconic in its own right from this concert; what a night! The distance bw these three practically unnoticed and the power of music to bring sides together and forget, if just for a few hours. Completely inspiring for me. Thank you! RIP Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce and long live Eric Clapton !
Just imagine what they could of done if they stayed together for a few more years? All three are one of the best of all time, truly great misicians, they were ahead of there time!
I wish EC had included a Gibson or two in the lineup like back in the day. His psychedelic '64 SG (named after and painted by"The Fool") would have been really cool but he hasn't owned it in decades. Todd Rundgren owned it for a number of year having bought it for 500 bucks! IN 2000 it was sold to a private collector for 500 THOUSAND dollars! Anyway I would have been happy to see him play any old off the rack Lester, ES-335 or SG just to hear him in that sonic element again.
I didn't see Cream but I did see "Blind Faith" with Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Rich Greth and Ginger Baker in Houston Texas August 1969. I remember the band sounded just like their album. This is timeless music. Thank you for the post.
Wow, what a treasure to see The Cream play! They were so legendary in the 60's and not many of us got to see their performances. To see Eric play the songs that made him a guitar god and Jack singing and driving bass and Ginger special drumming, unbelievable that we got this before Jack passed.
Take it Easy Ginger..you are the best.. Take good care..after this ordeal thats turning out very good! (10-2019) pleeese take it east for a brilliantly- continuing- recovery! Greetings from Chicago from a fan who adored you back in 67 and watched u play in a little club with jack bruce and clap...me, I was jailbait and worked 5 minutes a nite..just a wingman for me pal..also jailbate. i looked 12 but it worked! the club boss was a gentleman.. and I never forgot that nite. jimi and janis also flew thru there to perform greatness also.. incredible times! sending all the best ..from all across the universe! for real
I was lucky enough to see them 3 out of the 4 nights here, and the farewell concert at the albert hall too.they didn't really get going on this one,ie,compare it too the version on'goodbye cream',but we should be grateful for it happening at all. sad that baker and bruce have both gone now.
I was there then, and I'm here now. Good then, great now! It really is true that some things grow better with age. I wish I wuz one of 'em. RIP Ginger, and Jack. Live long, and play for us Eric, and maybe the world will survive long enough for our grandchildrens children to enjoy your gift of music, and art. Rock us now , and play for the gods forever!
Amazing arrangements yeah, but what is awesome here is the energy of these three guys' performance. This vibes reach a little country called Costa Rica. Greetings. Rock will always be young and revelious!
Incredible sound from three instruments, and they make it look easy. It is obvious they're having fun, too. To think they've been performing longer than the great majority of those viewing this vid have been alive.

morganfisherart not good? says who.. he got thru the heart procedure very well. that good news showed up on 10-2..wednesday. 2019. bad news is bad voodoo. Ginger is THE MAN IN DRUMMING. Ginger IS A TRUE SURVIVOR. AND SO MUCH MORE..!
I feel this is because of the group dynamic. When Eric (can I call Him Eric?) played in other groups he was the star, and everyone played aound him so he had a comfortable role. Ginger Baker was having none of that; he saw himself as at least Eric's equal and often as the star himself. It seemed that to that end Ginger frequently took the initiative and leading role introducing unexpected complex rhythms which forced Eric to stretch himself to stay in time.
Dichosos los que asistieron a este irrepetible espectáculo. Lo repito incansablemente de principio a fin, una y otra vez. Baker me transporta siempre con su endemoniada voz a la preadolescencia, 1970

Sadly now gone, but the world owes Jack and Ginger a debt for their marvelous playing.
Can you even believe this music? I thank my lucky stars that this was the norm when I was growing up

is so great to see people just sitting there enjoying the music.

It's very fantastic to ser the happiness in their faces.
I just wish these videos could capture the extraordinary BASS that Jack puts out! What a voice! Miss ya Jack and Ginger!

It rips me up that they didn’t play ‘I feel free’...
Ginger!! How the hell did he make it to 80?? Bless him.

Holy crap this is great and has so much energy. I was expecting watered down performances of all their songs.

Indeed! (But Eric was already a “guitar god” before Cream.)
Впервые услышал в 13-15 лет. Я жил в СССР, и я понял, наконец - какая музыка мне нравится.
Amazing sounds after so many years. It’s good to see the 3 didn’t burn out when they were younger like so many other musicians
OR THEIR "FANS??
What a testament to musicianship, old guys playin it better than ever. A concert for ALL time
