    Unique - the deck ... great explanation of your card choices.
    Kingdom of AgaBurrowing sounds cool, and explains why you do not run burry and/or Earthquake. But why no Atlantean Fate?

    • @Jeff-Rosado
      @Jeff-Rosado  8 месяцев назад +3

      Atlantean fate is certainly a powerful card and you can certainly play it if you wanted to! However, I wanted my deck to focus more on dealing with threats while simultaneously applying damage and pressure on my opponent. Death Dealer, Great Old One, Lightning Bolt and Chaos Twister apply pressure on my opponent while also getting rid of threats in certain situations. Atlantean Fate would certainly take care of numerous threats as well but afterwards it would have no follow up to apply pressure. This is also why I took out Cave-In because it did get rid of threats but thats it.... it had no follow up. Lightning Bolt and Chaos Twister are excellent because they can get rid of threats while simultaneously having the option to deal damage and close out the game faster. Hope this helps!

    nice deck tech. Depending on how the deck develops, you might want to go back up to 2 or 3 Alvalinne Dryads (4 is a good starting point for a player who wants to jam bigger spells)

    • @Jeff-Rosado
      @Jeff-Rosado  8 месяцев назад +3

      I used to believe the same thing... Some games, having multiple was a benefit. But I dropped Dryads to 1 because most of the time they really clogged my hand and field. Also, it was really bad having multiple Dryads in play, opponent would destroy them, and I would have to be forced to draw more sites just to play the 1 minion I was trying to race out... while my opponent played more threats... In that common situation I found it better to play my spells, stabilize the board, and build my mana recourses to race out a big minion. I also wanted to see more threats to apply pressure on my opponent. My deck isn't centered around racing out big minions. It's goal is to apply steady pressure, control the board, and accel in card advantage. Also keep in mind, I'm playing 1 Philo, 3 Towers, and 4 Cores (ultimately 9 mana accelerants including the 1 Dryad). But like what you said, depending on the games development, there may come a time where playing more Dryads will provide a benefit again. But for now 1 is perfect for me! 👍

    Deck is basically "play every good card in the game" haha. I joke, but really shows how Elementalist can break the game as the threshold barriers to playing so many good cards in the same deck is more or less eliminated (not fully, but pretty much removes it from "impossible" to "quite possible").
    I question this "guide" technique with Chaos Twister though. What's to stop someone from basically blowing only as a mean to fulfill the cards stated requirements but 99% of the drop is on the hand technique? I'd have to see it in action I suppose, but anything that removes the blowing dexterity from the mechanic that forces the card off the back of your hand seems antithesis to the card's intended function. I'd imagine that any angle of the hand should be illegal (card should be on back of hand as close to horizontal as can be).

    • @Jeff-Rosado
      @Jeff-Rosado  8 месяцев назад +2

      Haha yeah Elementalist really shines in this deck for that exact reason. It's only going to get better as the game continues to grow. I have a video on my channel explaining strategies that help successfully land Chaos Twister. But the be fair it's all based on how your judge rules the execution of the card. Hope this helps, and hope you enjoy!:

    Jeff I love your decks and your deck techs but how are you reliably turning on Kingdom of Agartha with that mana base + Onyx Core my brother

    • @Jeff-Rosado
      @Jeff-Rosado  8 месяцев назад +3

      Elementalist provides extra threshold and helps you draw sites such as Pillar of Zeiros, Colour Out of Space, and the Kingdom. Highland Princess searches Onyx Core. Immortal Throne and Pact with the Devil can also draw sites and help you draw into Princess or Onyx Core. Usually you will rarely need Kingdom early so a steady draw throughout the game will guarantee you will get the threshold you need. Remember a 20 card atlas makes it easier to draw the sites you need! Just make sure to plan your turns wisely! Hope this helps! 😁
