Damn it, this is SO good! The guitar, the voice, the video! This is the how a cover should be, original, but without losing the essence of the song. Send my regards to that incredible guitar player.
This Opeth song breaks my heart.
I was hearing this cover and I admit it wasn't "grabbing" me, in the beginning.
And then at 1:07 you started raising towards the chorus...
My skin crawled, I had to pause the video for a second and breathe and "shield myself", no joke.
What a great explanation for that reaction. I couldn't gave a name for that when I feel it but yes, is the correct aception: "Shield myself" for that huge and overwhelming amount of emotions created by this song.
Ah and yes, I also need to breathe at that point of the song...

This is the most perfect cover of any song I have ever heard. The guitar, vocals, even the visual atmosphere. That chorus brings me to tears, so heartbreaking. Well done, absolutely perfect.
That was absolutely beautiful the voice was beautiful the acoustic guitar was perfect and the atmosphere of the rain tied the video together. I wonder where they're at the city behind them looks cool
