@fakepretender I agree 100% with you. Most of the times those packs are low effort, they don't even try to make the textures blend well and you get those hard edges in the blocks

This is how it felt in 2010 back in Alpha when I first played it, and had to learn crafting recipes by just trying things. Back before the End existed, and the Nether was the newest thing in the game.
@@LeafMaltieze Those were the good ol days. In beta, we used LogMeIn Hamatchi to host servers for our friends to join. I had a crappy celeron pc with no gpu and I could only see like 20 blocks out because my graphics settings were so low.

The developer team of Minecraft is trying their best for us 'players' while the community itself pushing the game off limit is just excellent!

@Yuoanamore like the higherups have a stupid need to "stay in touch with the community" so there's a spaghetti of bureaucracy for Minecraft devs because they have to report and document to the fullest, about everything
look at their april fools updates for goodness sakes it's literally a public beta at this point
I’m fairly sure that the problem is not devs being lazy but Microsoft not wanting to new different things to be tried and tested therefore there is less creativity in the dev team

This shows the beauty that some may fail to see without fancy shaders or nice graphics, it shows Minecraft, a game which has for so long, been with us.

there's something so pretty about escaping reality with a game that was my entire childhood
0:13 is incredible, the leaves change color and the sunray becomes shinier as the chorus drops. A bit poetic to me because autumn often represents sadness but when it turns fall, everything becomes brighter.
It's poetic for me too! One thing I *love* is whenever I watch the part where the chorus drops, It gives me a really different-ish vibe, a feeling that I never get, a really fresh and good one.

Hey to be fair, Mojang is shacked by Microsoft. Even if they wanted to make the game better (and who's to say they don't), they wouldn't be able to. I don't know about dumb stuff like the fireflies but I don't think Mojang is the one trying to enforce chat bans on Java and migrate accounts. That's all Microsoft. They call the shots

I actually dont think its a map. It might be normal terrain generated with a certain mod like terra. Usually in distant horizons they use these mods to highlight the perks of dh.

It's beautiful... I love the editing and everything. This mod is crazy and awe inspiring. Graphics have come a ridiculous way.
This is the best showcase of Distant Horizons with shaders that I have ever seen
Shaders + map or realistic terrain generation mod + distant horizons is the best combination ever
Reterraforged + tan's huge trees + Biomes you'll go + this rocks + natural decoration + Hans enhanced biomes + distant horizons 2.0 and iris
And bliss shaders with Patrix

When I saw this comment and then watched the video afterwards, it gave me a huge wave of nostalgia because of how Minecraft was in the old days and now how far It has come (even If it's only from the mods it still really gives me chills)

@@higueraft571 this runs very well, distant horizons allows you to see for miles into the horizon and I have been able to do this on my crappy pc, I also wish they had their own shader options and better mod support, this is stuff they do for bedrock but not for java.
wdym "What Could've..." Minecraft has always been community driven... Mojang is largely made up of old modders... The community is Minecraft... This is Minecraft... There is no official or unofficial... Microsoft/Mojang would have removed the possibility of modding the game in such a way long ago, if that was not what Mojang wanted
