Moving some poles from the west end of the line to the material yard and showing the new pole rack.

- At the end of the season I built a rack in the material yard for storing the catenary poles, this rack keeps the poles up off the ground until they are needed and now it is very easy to transfer them onto the car for transport. Also showing the recently reconstructed trackage in the material yard, which still has some finishing up to do but at least there is a place to store some cars again! This track had to be removed during the mainline reroute project so it had been a struggle all year finding places to store the flatcars while still keeping things fluid. I really could use a 3rd track in this yard, that may happen if I ever get bored lol.
Wonderful traction action with the tight curves and curved switches.

Love it. Thanks!
Love your content. Approximately how many acres does your railroad run on?
It is about 15 acres
@@CNW4145you haven’t posted a video for quite a while. Hope everything is ok.
All good, thanks for checking in! I have taken some videos and will be editing them when it gets too cold to be working outside. Hopefully some stuff you will like!
@@CNW4145 good to hear from you. Looking forward to any and all videos you may post. Thank you for sharing your railroad with us.
You’ve obviously been putting a lot of work in the last couple of years. Any plans of opening to the public.
Unfortunately due to liability I am unable to open to the public. The sad state of the world we live in today :(
I understand. It looks great, I really enjoy watching your progress.
Good to see you back!
Question: do u ever have open houses?
Sadly I do not due to liability concerns.
Have you ever considered posting photos of some of the equipment on rrpicturearchives?
I have not, but not a bad idea!
@@CNW4145 I think 2 foot gauge would qualify as a real railroad instead of a model
Super!
