Moving some poles from the west end of the line to the material yard and showing the new pole rack.

  • At the end of the season I built a rack in the material yard for storing the catenary poles, this rack keeps the poles up off the ground until they are needed and now it is very easy to transfer them onto the car for transport. Also showing the recently reconstructed trackage in the material yard, which still has some finishing up to do but at least there is a place to store some cars again! This track had to be removed during the mainline reroute project so it had been a struggle all year finding places to store the flatcars while still keeping things fluid. I really could use a 3rd track in this yard, that may happen if I ever get bored lol.

Wonderful traction action with the tight curves and curved switches.

Unfortunately due to liability I am unable to open to the public. The sad state of the world we live in today :(
