I’ve read that GM has recalls on the 2021 Yukon & Tahoe for faulty fuel pumps, fuel tank,airbag malfunction light,improperly installed seatbelt assemblies,loss of power steering assist and brakes.😳I hope the ‘22 year model doesn’t have as many issues.

Because what I'm being told is that due to the chip shortage it's neither are available and you won't be able to get it installed.. but for some reason they can get the chip for the most irrelevant option they've ever came up with.. hand's free driving ..I'm getting ready to get another one of these but not until I can get what we all are paying a ton of money for..

A QUESTION: Is there any way I could get the 20" wheels, maybe like those that come on the AT4, instead of the 22" wheels mandated on the Denali Ultimate? And would that be from the factory, or done at the dealer level? Also, if yes, would that in any way force a change in the brakes or something because of the smaller wheel size, not smaller overall diameter hopefully, but smaller rim, and/or would it somehow affect mileage and air pressure readings and such done electronically and viewable on the dash? I just really want thicker rubber than comes with the 22" wheels. And though not necessary, it would be great if I had a choice as to rim styles. I do love the 275/60R20 All Terrain tires of the AT4, and would love to get those exactly on the Denali Ultimate, but if I got the thicker rubber 20"s and had to do a similar all season style like the 22"s, that would be fine. Frankly, I'd have likely already bought the 2021 Denali Ultimate but for the 22" wheels. Now I would really like the fully loaded 2022 Denali Ultimate, but as I said, with the 20" wheels (Even 18", but 20" would be fine). I am still a bit torn between the 6.2 liter v8 or the 3 liter turbo diesel, though leaning towards the turbo diesel given the high altitude where I live. I would get the all black interior, and likely the white exterior, with roof rack, the molded rain guards on the side windows, privacy glass with as much tint as possible, including a little on the front row side windows, the red caliper brakes, and more. I love a black exterior, or maybe dark green if its dark enough, but if I went that route, I'd want to get a full custom, chrome delete job done after purchase, which is tempting, expensive but tempting. I don't like all the chrome, but I do think it compliments the white rather than contrasts, so it's okay with the white exterior.
You can get 20s, but 22s come standard with ultimate. Shouldn’t change stopping power tremendously, but I’m sure there will be a difference. And tire pressure sensors should still read normal I’d think.
@@NothinButCarReviews Thanks for the reply. One thing I noticed about the Denali seems a great little benefit I've heard no one talk about. That space in front of the front center console, there are padded rails above the charging space and cupholders, and with the cupholder closed, if you move the center condole back, it would appear you put a laptop nicely flat right on those rails, running on batter or plugged in, a great little mobile work station. There's a smaller version in the AT4 that could likely be used somewhat similarly. Ironically, that little work space feature is part of why I am seriously considering the Denali or AT4 but leaning towards the Denali, especially if I can change out the 22"rs on the Ultimate with 20"rs, without any technical/electronic drawbacks say with the MPG, or distance driven or air pressure readings and such doing so. Maybe it's not worth changing to the 20"rs, I keep going round and round, it's just that I imagine that extra rubber thickness might have advantages. Again, solid review. Worth coming back to. Thumbs up!
I am sure you can even fit 17s.on youtube lot of 21 Sierra with 17s and Clear brakes no problem but need bigger backspacing or small spacers. I 315 70 17 on 2016 escalade esv and 3 inch lift. Love having way more tires softer ride and in extreme situations can go ofroad

i have the 21...the 2nd row seats can slide forward and back with that 1st lever. there is a lot of room in the 3rd row if the 2nd row is slid forward.

Escalade has optional super cruise, optional soft close doors, optional 36 speaker kit, massaging seats, better sound dampening, OLED screen, but the overall design is similar and the engine is the same, suspension is the same as this ultimate, it has better leather etc. overall a nicer vehicle but whether it’s worth 30k premium is up for debate which just shows me how nice this Denali is.
this is a great job still trying to figure out how to get apps to show up on the back screens? I only have the HDMI options also the Navigation is supposed to be accessible from the reartscreens as well. Any info you can help with?
Take to dealer, could easily be software issue? Or you may have to download them over the air? I’ve been able to pull the nav screen on the 2021s, but Netflix and Hulu I’ve only seen on 22s

The Ultimates have different wheels and a different interior than this one, too ( they DO have the massaging seats, though ) I think this one might have the "Ultimate" Package ? ( which is different from being an "Ultimate".
Has anyone gotten to the bottom of the rear seat apps mystery? I picked up my 2022 Chevy Suburban last week with RES and can't find anything other than the HDMI 1 and 2 inputs. I have been from one end of the internet to the other, and this appears to be the only GM product with the apps feature.
on my 21 you can add apps from the front. i was able to add alexa and pandora. on the 21 those apps are only available on the front, the rear only has usb, hdmi1 and hdmi2. maybe that's how you add them on the 22.
Annoying flaw to have to get out and slide the second row forward every time just to lay the 3rd row flat.... if you use it actively- it grows old sliding forward.. sliding back..

It's not a ultimate. This one has the regular red GMC badge That's how you can tell them apart.
