One off the best places we visited in Japan. Hiked from middle shrine to top shrine then took the path to the right at Orange gate and did Lake Kagami finishing with Soba at middle shrine. The avenue with the tall trees is stunning.
If we could do it all over again, I would definitely have slurped up some of the Togakushi soba! Slightly gutted we missed it, but we ate that big mound a few days before so we can’t complain! It’s such a gorgeous location 🥰
Oh no a sign all in Japanese, but at least there is pictures. I would love it if Bear showed you around all the places he visited as a child, though I feel Ninja Village would have been a place he would have loved.Also bears little laugh when you tripped made my heart so happy ❤
It was the least helpful sign even with the pictures 😂🙈 we were like “why are we going down instead of up to the upper shrine??” only to find out it did go up in the end 🥲💀. I’d love that too! Such a good idea! I’m sure mama Bear would love to give me a tour too haha. The ninja village is definitely my kind of place 😂. I had to rewatch the smile haha you’d think he’d be used to it by now!
@@OshareJapan I mean any sign is unhelpful to me but we have gone from pictures and english, to pictures and Japanese and now scared for next level just Japanese. Awww you totally should ❤ It is so cute
It was deceptively shady haha I guess the trees kept all the humidity in 😅. It’d be nice to go back to 28 degrees now the temperature has dropped, so that’ll teach me to complain 😂
It's funny how you were talking about Lord of the Rings in the previous video and the pathways y'all took through the forest look very much like those in Rivendell or lothlorien. There's just so many awesome places y'all keep finding. 😁 drive safe! Can't wait for the next video!

What super powers would you like to be granted if the guy forest gods chose to bestow? Mine would be to visit alternate dimensions to see how my life would be if I tried different investment strategies and places to live. Also immortality too
I love the little immortality afterthought 😂 I suppose teleportation would be pretty handy and money saving, but our health and happiness is enough haha

昔、子供達を連れて【忍者村】に行きました。戸隠神社⛩そっちのけでしたよ！帰りに戸隠キャンプ場に行き、併設されていた馬の放牧地や子供達にポニーに乗せて来ました。
せめて戸隠蕎麦だけは食べたかった😭
