Hi Joel, this has been a fantastic series covering this Panama pond installation. We're in the process of installing a woodland wildlife pond in the slightly less glamorous location (but no less beautiful) of North Wales and are documenting the process on our own RUclips channel. After following your channel for a while this will be the third pond we've built and I have utilised your build format each time - simply because we feel it's the best and your educational and inspiring videos have really helped us have the confidence to try to increase the biodiversity in each of the pond locations. Thanks for all the time you put into making these videos and for all the expert info you are willing to put out there for free. The difference you have made to UK wildlife and that further afield must be immeasurable 🙏👍

Thank you so much for this, I really appreciate it and the time you've taken to leave such a positive and encouraging message. Messages like yours really do help. So glad to hear that you're on your third pond already and are making changes. Don't forget me at www.wildyourgarden.com for any products/plants you might need, I set this up so that people could obtain the exact same products I use and I offer free tailored advice to any customers of Wild Your Garden. But thank you, thank you so much for your message, it's made a brilliant start to the day! Very best wishes, Joel

This was so beautiful it takes your breath away. Such magnificent scenery and wildlife in every direction, rolling out in uninterrupted splendor. The sounds of the ocean gently rolling onto the beach, a beach that looked like an absolute dream. The sounds of nature filled the air, so full of life and wonder.
    Loved this💚
    Until next time, thank you🌻

You ARE lucky growing up in Panama. Not sure if I conveyed it sufficiently but I'd love to live there one day! The people are so kind, the nature is incredible and a constant temperature weatherwise is always good... Really glad you found this - I have videos to come yet of the Canal, seeing a Harpie Eagle at the Zoo as part of the conservation work with them, whale watching in Bocas del Toro... the list is endless, as is the footage I now have! Welcome to the channel, thanks so much for your kind words and encouragement, appreciated :) Best wishes, Joel

Thanks so much for all the encouragement - best wishes, Joel

I'm hoping to bring another couple of videos re this trip and Jim sends regular updates via whatsapp, just waiting on some film from him but it's a busy time for him at the moment - once I have everything I'll do a proper update on the pond. Hoping to get a video up for this evening and another on Sunday which I know you'll enjoy - have a good break - Joel

Hi Tracey, thank you - lots more to come of course but I thought that as the channel is rather international it's only fair to showcase what others are doing for wildlife around the world and Jim never ceases to keep improving his very special plot of land. He is sending regular updates of the pond and it's visitors, not sure we'll beat a Caiman to be honest but who knows. I will certainly be returning for the second pond, it's just finding the time of course to make the trip there again, but I long to return. Best wishes - Joel

I'm really pleased about that Nicki, it's not the usual content but I think it important to show what everyone around the world is doing and the wildlife that is being helped by individuals in their own spaces. There will be more of the usual videos to come of course but I really wanted to share all this with you too. Best wishes, Joel

That fallen tree with the multiple trunks is how the Japanese learnt to make the Raft Bonsai style of Bonsai tree. The main trunk developed its own root system, since the main root would not of been able to cope with branches now becoming the main trunk. First time I’ve seen this in a natural setting Joel 👌
