Here we go again, prepare for a long yap. First things first, I dont want to offend/hate or disrespect anyone who worked on this project, this is my honest critique. I hate to write this type of comment again, but this was another big miss for me. Majority of the project sounded the same (not in a good way). There are some standouts tho. For example CPU and ColdConversationsOnaburnerPhones. Let me dive into CPU. The beat is awesome, its the most different song on the album, vocals/lyrics a cadence are also better than most of the tracks. Its a shame the 2nd part of the song is unlistenable, the pitch switch threw me off completely. It sounds super wierd and it doesnt fit the song at all imo. Lets move to ColdConversationsOnaburnerPhones. Again, The beat is awesome and I dont mind the long intro. The sample is immaculate, so good. Too bad i already have a saved song with the same sample and it is sooo much better than this bones track. When it comes to all other tracks they are all already forgetable. (exept for my honorable mention AccesDenied). To be fair I am not the biggest fan of SoftwareUpdate 1.0, but if i had to compare 1.0 and 2.0, 1.0 clears. Im sad to say that none of the tracks made it to my quintilion playlists. Its better than cadaver tho, so thats a + i guess? Id give this project a 3,5/10. This concludes my twitlonger yapping session. Despite all of this I want to give a massive thanks to bones and all of SESH for bombarding us with sthit ton of music. some projects hit and some dont. ( latest two have been a mis). Im still looking forward to more music. Peace, love yall. SESH (also Gratzz on the 100k!!!)
