Hi, I think you would enjoy using squalane oil. It closely mimics what the sebaceous glands produce, so it's especially perfect for anyone with dry skin, or older women. It doesn't sit on top of the skin so it makes the skin feel very smooth, but moisturised without feeling heavy. It's also inexpensive. I use it at night. In the morning, I wear it alone, or under a very light dusting of powder. Sometimes I mix a drop of squalane with the tiniest amount of liquid concealer (you could use foundation) and apply all over the face. This evens out the skin tone, but gives a natural look. No-one would guess you are wearing any makeup at all. Truly, it's the perfect moisturiser. The beauty industry has one aim - profit - and women are made to believe they need an arsenal of skin and makeup products, when in fact simple is best. The hair industry is no different. Your hair looks great by the way! It's so similar to mine, in colour, length and texture. I had my first grey hair at 20 and never coloured my hair, as going grey never bothered me. It seemed to bother others more. I'm in my my 50s now and other women often tell me they wish they had never coloured their hair (the hard transition means many women don't feel they can go grey).
Thanks so much girl! What squalene do you like? I know squalene can be produced using different source materials so I'm curious to know which one you have been loving ; ) xo, Lisa
Yes, squalane is the BEST. I mix squalane with measowfoam and jojoba oil and put it on my face and it sinks right into my skin. Great for balancing the skin.
Omg, this is hillair ; ) Yes! They actually use the plum SEED oil though...the oil doesn't actually come from the fruit...or the dried fruit for that matter. ; )
Thanks for the review! I’d like to give this a try after using up my current face oil product. Vegan and Cruelty-Free are must haves for me.
Hi Lisa! It's so good, did you end up giving it a try? xo, Lisa

This plum oil is amazing! It is life changing for me.
Right!?! Try their SPF next!
I loved the sample of La Prunier that I received in a sub box. Great back story. ❤️
Such a beautiful story. I love how responsible they are!
Why the music? I like to listen to what you have say. Don’t be afraid of silence....
Ellacsap Faargenah Agreed. It’s usually much more pleasant without background music.
I hardly noticed the music. Maybe it’s the sound settings on the viewer’s device.
@@lisak7214 Thank you! I'm new at making RUclips videos so I'm sorry if the music settings are off!
I'm going to order some organic plum oil
Awesome! xo
love this review!
It's so good!
Wait! Don't plums turn into prunes?
