I use this stuff for everything! It was invented by accident, but it's one of the best products I've ever used. It's like a Victorinox Swiss Army knife, that has 1000 uses! I use it to dry my watercolor brushes upside down and for many more uses than that ( I always find a new use out of nowhere!) ! You won't believe it, but I used it to glue back a broken tip, from a colored pencils that I use for sketching!,which was also in the end of it's life (too short to sharpen, the sharpeper was probably dull, which caused the broken tip when I tried to sharpen it!)! ! it worked for a while, so it saved me a couple of sketches that otherwise I wouldn't have done, since I had to order a new pencil!
Used this stuff for years but only in the usual way i.e. sticking up signs etc. Do you know what though, this is genius! All those wasted blu tack opportunities! Thank you! 😁👍
i love your channel , my wife and i left the U.K. forty years ago and when i heard her watching an English gardening show i thought my goodness that lady sounds just like you so i had to come back for more of your lovely voice.
I use it for (over, and over, and over agains) every Christmas to hang up my grown up girls Christmas decorations and artwork they made when they were kids.
Didn’t know there were so many uses, I tend not to use it on important things like rare posters as when it gets old oil residue marks the paper, Well done Vikkie I use it to hold wires in place before soldering 😊, thanks for a great upload
This product is great stuff! I'd never heard of it. Thanks for spreading the word. I've already spotted it on Amazon and I'm gonna add some to my next order.
Loved this! I just used two large pieces of blu-tack to hold a 4-way power extension strip down on a work surface to stop it flopping about. Solid as a rock! (Electricians, please don't shout at me - it's temporary!)
You are beyond cute❤️. And for us Yankee boys, your accent is like eating dessert, it's such a treat. Plus a guy gets awestruck at all the guy-friendly hobbies and interests you have. Thank you for these great hacks and I'm looking forward to more of your useful videos, dear.😊
Great stuff! (literally) Do you know if blu tack could hold up those rectangular light weight ikea tiles? ("lonsas") for a longer time or would the properties naturally diminish? As an idea, they should be lighter in weight than the "proper" tiles you demonstrate in your video, & the installation would be on a matt painted wall. I want to do a mirror wall but need the option to move the tiles to another wall/do different configurations. Subbed & thanks in advance for any advice!
@@TheCarpentersDaughterUK You could use it to hold nuts, bolts, screws, molding clips, keeping a wire in place while your working on something. Maybe there is a small water leak. Its one of those items that would be good to carry in the tool box.
I remember back at school everyone at class would take any blu tack that is on the wall or anywhere and if you buy ur own one u r considered like one of the cool kids. We would even steal some from the teacher lol

Aww, I love that!!
Absolutely amazing video never thought so many uses ❤👍👍
Nice video! I use it blu tack to hold my electronic bits together when soldering. It's good to see you back.
💕Blu Tac is great for cleaning the inside of your car💕
And I thought it was only good for putting up posters 🤯 Great Tips! 👍
Yep, used it for most of these - best one is definitely getting the old blue tack off something you used it for ages ago!
Didn’t know there were so many uses, I tend not to use it on important things like rare posters as when it gets old oil residue marks the paper,

I use blutack to hold electronic components in place while soldering them.
Very good idea 👌
You know what, that's freakin brilliant! The blutack can also serve as a heatsink, which protects the soldered component. I love this idea!
This is a must for a prop stylist's kit.
Thanks a lot for making this video. Keep up the good work.
omg - why do I never think of these lol!!
Old bluey should be a staple in any toolbag!
Wait, what, black/grey tac😃 Have to get me some of that.
Ps...Great upload👍🏽
Thanks :) It's very handy when working solo ☺️
Obvs use it for posters , also I use it for sticking up old curtains on walls for dust sheets 🙂

What's that, I googled it and it sounds like farming.?
Another great video, it’s a bit like WD40, didn’t realise it had so many use’s 👍
I agree!! I seem to use WD40 every week in my workshop on all kinds of projects!
"Keep off my tools" 🤣🤣🤣
Great stuff! (literally)

I love blue tack but i only use it to play with
And this is portable also. Use it around the car, or outside the house, on the job, where ever you need it.
Ooh, how do you use it im your car?

Have you tried "Black Tac" for that more permanent fixture.
🇮🇪🇪🇺🤔
Never heard of it. Thought you were joking until I searched 😆

It's mostly used by Model railway enthusiasts.
Someone tell me I'm not the only one who chewed it in school so I don't feel like a weirdo. 😅
..chewed what ? : )
Ha... can't say I have... but may have tried it once at school out of curiosity 😆
People who just play with it
ME:mom I'm famous❤😂
Which registry office did you get married in please?
Tastes like crap but you can use it as chewing gum.
😂
Very tacky.
