I think the MT Blade 2 is the best helmet in the price range. Most comfortable and with dual visors. DOT and ECE certification. Visor is pinlock ready and all the padding is removable and washable. Spare parts like visor or inner padding is easily available.
We would suggest you try them on yourselves and decide. Both are good helmets at the price point. However, we have been loving the KYT recently for its quality.

I recently saw your video on hydraulic brakes which was awesome.. but not sure if they are legal to modify.. nowadays what police do is they just compare your bike with stock pic from Google.. Any difference.. there goes the money !!
