Great to see Neil looking so good! Wishing the cast of A Beautiful Noise much success. I hope the show is worthy of Neil. I have a good feeling about it from everything I have read and seen. Neil Diamond has been my favorite artist since 1968. He is an incredible talent. I wish I lived closer to Boston so that I could see the show in Boston.
They were singing it at the Little League World Series today, all the kids singing right along, already had it memorized at 8, 9, 12 years old. That song is going to last forever. It's a worldwide phenomenon. I'm not sure there's anything else like it.
Go see the Musical. Pretty sure the person you are complaining about is the one who plays "young Neil" in the play and he is helping Neil since he can no longer sing and perform alone. He has deep love and respect for Neil Diamond. Obviously, Neil was happy to have him there. Saw the musical yesterday. If you love Neil Diamond go see it before Aug 7 in Boston.#abeautifulnoisemusical #emersoncolonial #ABeautifulNoise #NeilDiamondMusical
I don't know if we are necessarily "complaining" or for that matter have the opinion that Will Swenson doesn't care for Mr. Diamond; merely that it would have been lovely to hear Neil Diamond's voice --
In a 2007 interview, Diamond stated the inspiration for his song was John F. Kennedy's daughter, Caroline, who was eleven years old at the time it was released
I agree. MattArchives might be right, but honestly, I'd rather hear Neil Diamond soloing no matter how he sounds. I think. In any case, this is a great way for me to start the day! Good to see (and hear) Neil Diamond again.
It’s not his son, it’s the man who is playing young Neil Diamond in the musical A Beautiful Noise. They were promoting that as it was opening 2 days later in Boston.
@MattArchives Matt, Neil didnt need some undeserving wannabe drowning him out, that was just flat out disrespectful to Neils legacy IMO. If he was unable to complete the song on his own I sure his people would never have allowed him to go up there to begin with. No matter his condition, Neil will always be a legend!
81 and still going strong. Thank you Neil for all that you have given over the years!
Great to see The Legend that is Neil Diamond singing!!
I love Neil Diamond tears in my eyes because so happy to see him sing only one voice like that would be NEIL DIAMOND!
One of my parents favorites!! Glad to see the legend, Mr. Diamond, is....."doing well" (all things, considered) . God bless! 🙏
I was at this game, Surreal experience
Neil and his music will always be remembered and sung while some of today's singers will fade away
Thank you! I Love Neil, I Love Fenway!
His song all the way! Sweet memories!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Neil still rocks it!! I wish he had more of the microphone though! We want to hear NEIL SING !!! LoL . He's the best.
A beautiful man -- I do wish the star of "A Beautiful Noice" would have given the stage to Neil -- just so that we could hear this gentle giant ....

My love and respect for Neil Diamond. Will never end. Thank
Great to see this. Thank you … the Legend
Neil Diamond is part of Red Sox Nation!!!! Go Sox!!!!
Neil didn't need the help.
@MattArchives I know that, but it sounded like he was singing ok to me, plus the crowd was singing along.
Really? Neil has Parkinson's? He STILL didn't need help with his signature song.
I hear you, but it's plausible that he asked for it.
@@mikestevenson576 Could be.👍

It's so good to see him out there having a good time. Fxxk Parkinsons. I hope he's still doing ok. Prayers to him & family.
Simple wonderful!
I was at the game and was about to go up to the truly bar to say hi.
LOVE you NEIL!! XOZOZOXOXOX.

Neil Diamond doing his best Roman Reigns..."Acknowledge me!!!!"

Fantástico y Grandioso... Sin duda Neil Diamond... Va ser el Mejor Por Siempre por su Música y su VOZ en el Mundo......Saludos desde CHILE.....

So glad to have been there for this! Energy was unreal, we may have lost but this was a blast :)
👏 wonderful thank you
fantastic
Wish the other guy would shut up and let Neil sing
The other guy ruins the moment

Yes
I may be wrong, but I believe the other guy is his son, thank you very much.

Cool
Thank you so much for this great video👍👏👏👏👏🥰🥰🥰🥰
There should have only been 1 live mic, and that should have been to Neil Diamond alone.
he is struggling man! have mercy. His presence is enough.
@@justhavingfun5562 I thought Neil did great.. It should have been his moment alone. No other person needed a live mic but Neil.

@MattArchives And my point is, the other clown with a mic should not have been there period.
@MattArchives Give it a rest Matt. What are you this guy's publicist? He screwed up Neil's performance with his huge ego and horrible voice.
■■■...I think the other guy was doing the actual singing however.
This was the one game I left fenway early, I missed a once in a lifetime chance
Neil should’ve told the guy to “Just STFU!”🎤
HAHAHHAHA - word
Who's the ajackass that ruined it by singing along with Neil?!?
Neil didn't need any help, at least not to that extent. Guy was off key, loud & obnoxious.
"Standing alongside him was Broadway veteran Will Swenson, who plays the lead role in A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical"
Whoever was doing sound should’ve pulled the plug on that guy trying to sing with Neil Diamond, just awful!
That other guy ruined it
Cool
