Most underated uk band ever. Do yourself a favour and go watch them live , the sounds are incredible you wouldn't be disappointed .
I love james but they are not underrated they have too many bad songs! But the good songs are unreal! Problem is bands make good songs and okay ones then the occasional mint tunes! James has alot of mints tunes surrounded by alot of bad! If that makes sense. They are the size they deserve.

Seen them Live at Glasgow a good few year back and they haven't lost it still a great band .
One of the best songs that James has written since La petite mort. Mark sounds perfect in this new album. Thanks James, you still have the taste and the skills to record wonderful songs.

Calm down? Not quite up there with the Beatles, Rolling Stones or even Oasis and numerous others. No where near actually. Perspective should be sensible....
@@noahsdad-acousticmusic596 Oasis did 2 decent albums had 5 good years. Rolling Stones not done anything decent since 1983. James just released their 16 studio album and it's as good as anything else they've done. Sold 60k tickets for their tour in December already.
@@plym1969 I realise I'm on a James fan discussion here so very much difficult to have a rationale debate or discussion by that very nature. But just to be clear here your saying James are better than the Rolling Stones and Oasis. That is correct I think?
@@noahsdad-acousticmusic596 no I'm saying James are up there with the best UK bands not better. No one can be better than the originators of the art form such as the Beatles and the Stones. James have a body of work over a long period of time that has maintained its quality. Live they are the best live band I've seen and I've seen most of the big major acts of the last 40 years. Also in Tim Booth they have a lyricist who has something intelligent and thoughtful to say which you certainly couldn't say about Noel Gallagher.

I wandering around in Poundland when I heard this on their radio. Made a mental note for the lyric "time to escape" which was oft repeated. I knew it was James, but found nothing for about a week. And here we are.... Great tune!
One of the rare few bands that get better with time. Incredible considering stutter was an amazing starting point. Can't wait to see them live again

For once I would like to hear the bass player playing in the lower register he likes to play in the 12th fret high position alot . Give us some low e and lock in with the drummer that's what a bass player does man. Instead of playing like a guitarist.

Awesome band! A bit let down by a wannabe guitarist who allegedley plays the Musicman bass in the band. He is somehow incapable of moving out of the 12th position and constantly plays with a pick - all the while looking like a used car saleseman. Hey mate, I suggest you work with the awesome drummer and give the audience the lower-octave bass register of tones that they deserve!!
