Oh and USL just released the fall portion of the schedule for the Super League (I wish they came up with a different name for their women’s pro league). The Spring portion won’t come out until the winter break

Warner Discovery owns the TV rights but they have zero idea what to do with it. Last year they sold the rights to CBS because Messi was playing but they declined this year. Apple perspective (I think): It's dirt cheap. I can test it out. I can employ MLS to do the production. And lastly MLS will always listen to Apple. If this is successful and Apple renews, I can see MLS sending all their non CCC clubs to play in the USOC with the right scheduling changes.

Obviously Apple will listen to MLS' input. I can see a FA Cup-like weekend where all leagues have to keep one weekend in early May completely open for USOC. 3 rounds could be played (Wed, Sat, Wed) over 8 days and it could be better promoted
