I love that you talk about and show undoing parts you decide you don't want. It really is such a good life lesson to not take things too seriously, to not be afraid to undo things that aren't working and make it better. It took me a long time to learn that.

I SUPER AGREE WITH 4:12 I’m a clay artist and making short form content is def more easy but I don’t think you can really appreciate the effort unlike long form. cause it look’s like I did it seamless when I in fact didn’t and sometimes have breakdowns from them 😭😭 that and unrealistic expectations people can develop from it

Yeah! Finally someone did it. Clamp this together before the shorts raise too far up. A lot of the shorts can be totally unwearable just because they are too high… ✨🌙 well in my opinion 🥪

Sorry to break it to you but there's no ocean in Croatia. At least there wasn't one the last time I went. If I know my italian geography right there should be Mar Adriatico which is a sea. So when you get into it it's not immediately deep sea. Also I'd recommend you do the stupid yet smart thing I did as a really poor swimmer. To get an inflatable donut for adults. Yes I got a ring thingy that is for up to 100kg to swim with as I can technically swim and stay afloat but I'm bad at it so I get tired really easily.
Edit: one thing I'd recommend you to visit is my city in Italy: Genova. We are really close to some amazing tourist attractions like Portofino and such and you can reach other places in the Riviera really easily by train in less than two hours using regional trains which will cost you no more than 20 euros for both rides there and home. And you also get the small town feels in a big town as our people over here are super close unless you make a mess or too much noise. There's a lot to visit in Genova as in museums and villas, hiking, we even have some small lakes made by a river for really hot days. The water is freezing and there's a good jumping spot. I jumped a few times but I was such a chicken. Other things to do? Eat (we're the land of pesto and fried fish and we have a few Asian restaurants), go shopping, go to the beach (except our beaches are small) and overall have a lot of fun. Also we live three hours away from the french Riviera if that's also interesting to you. I have no clue where I'll be by that time. I might be home getting ready for the very last university exams or if it's the middle of August I'll be in southern Italy with my dad so he can pick up some stuff from his old place. Also Croatia is really good too to visit. I've been there for a while as our summer vacation spot for years and visited a good chunk of it. But apart from Italy, France, Croatia and Ukraine as a small kid I've never really been anywhere special.
Edit two: I also know two really good spots where to buy yarn here as a fellow knitter and crocheter.
Edit three: a new supermarket opened recently here called Asian Food in between the old and new port next to the Galata Sea Museum (it's a museum about boats and has a section dedicated to italian immigrants to the us and their experiences). I've never stepped foot in there but I wanted to after seeing some Asian lady with a bag of theirs. I hope I don't get mistaken as a Chinese woman as it normally happens. As a side we also have an easters supermarket that I believe is a Ukrainian chain that is kind of like a convenience store that sells russian/ukrianian/eastern European comfort foods.
most native english users will swap sea and ocean interchangeably. they technically arent but both are just a lot of water so most people dont pay attention to the difference
haha yes we use ocean & sea interchangeably! i'm excited for the sea~ and i can't tread water so i will have an inflatable LOL

A small suggestion to make them feel a bit more cohesive together would be to slip stitch embroider with the two other blues just to echo the same colors. Perhaps just a single stripe of each around the cups. It's also quick and easy to undo if you hate it. Both pieces are super cute and very flattering on you!
Totally agree! the lighter blue needs to be brought into the top, and I think thin embroidery would work super well

The two bigger flowers need a set of smaller center petals in one of the two lighter blues to tie everything together, and maybe don't tack them down all the way around so they're a bit more free and three dimensional!

Sewing elastic thread into waistbands is a gamechanger! Definitely recommend trying it on your shorts. (I'm only partway through the vlog so you might do this anyway but I'll forget to comment if I don't do it now).

i usually don't keep track unless i'm writing a pattern so the yardage is in the shorts pattern, but i was using a bunch of half used skeins for this project so i'm not sure sorry!
