I've definitely grown a fondness for Kawaii, Anime, and Manga. It wasn't a go-to when I first started coloring, but I have been enjoying those themes. Just bought a Kawaii Mandala book. Will haul soon! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

I feel ya there. I have done sometimes too. I may make my new years resolution to fill in the calendar daily. Of course mine was to lose wright 2023 and that didn't happen. 🙄 I believe since you can color in this one I'll be more motivated, but I'll update you all 1st quarter to see how I am doing!!!
im curious about those soft pastels, how would they go as a replacement for inking? i like to color blank journal pages for writing and these look like they cover well. would pen go over them once there dry or do they they continue to smear on the page? thanks :)

You can go over with pen, yes. You can also use a pastel workable fixative too. I do that just so they don't smudge on the next page over time.
I never tried acrylic paint pens
They're nice to use in coloring books.
Never tried those markers either

What did you color with to make it look glossy.
Are you referring to mod podge or the 3D Glaze pens?
Ill have to remember toilet paper if i want to ever use pastels.
Or paper towels if not to linty!
Never used Acrylic paint pens ever.
They're great for accenting pages or outlining or getting rid of line art lines.
