Thank for this Paul it is very insightful. I wanted to ask.. Please how can I figure how many people received the Survey. Like how many people it was sent to. I just can't seem to figure it on Qualtrics. Thank you in anticipation
In the email generator, do we literally copy a link and paste there? OR does Qualtrics default put the live link there for us? When you open the email, there is an evident area that Qualtrics generated....
Qualtrics automatically includes the link in the email. You can change it if you want to use a shortened version for example, but you don't need to. If you are using specific emails from a list then Qualtrics will generate a unique link per participant so you shouldn't change this.
Hi Paul, wanted to know how to attach an amazon voucher to the survey while it remains anonymous but only the intended participant should access the voucher once
I think the most straightforward way is to set up a second survey that is only accessible via the final page of the survey which asks for their details and then allows you to email the voucher. This keeps the survey anonymous, but allows you some control over the vouchers. See here - www.qualtrics.com/uk/experience-management/research/reward-survey-participants/ . and some further details here about linking one anonymous survey and an incentive survey - www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/common-use-cases-rc/creating-an-anonymized-raffle/
Hi Paul. Do you know the best way to protect your survey against bots? I'm doing a survey among a vulnerable population so I want to use an anonymous survey but scared that bots will just come for the incentive. Thanks
Hi Lucas, I have sent out large surveys and never had an issue with bots, but that said you can password protect a survey (you could always set up two surveys the first one can email the respondents a password to the second main survey). There are also some options in "survey options" that are specifically designed to prevent ballot stuffing, which may also help with potential bots).
@@PaulRedford Great! Thank you so much for your quick reply. Given that this is my diss research I have limited funds and don’t want it to go to bots lol.
I'm really sorry I don't know the answer to this, there is a great user community board on the Qualtrics website that might answer this one. Sorry not to be more help, I've not linked it to Facebook before. Good luck.
Thanks for this - I found exactly what I was looking for.
Great. So pleased to hear that it was useful.

Thank you, this had the information I needed!
It is possible to send the survey to different lists and have that information in the data table?
Thank you! Very helpful!

Any idea how we can put a working Facebook pixel on Qualtrics? Custom CSS under Look & Feel isn't working, it says it's invalid?
