What a change of scenery for you and for us! You spiked my curiosity about the encephalartos woodii, so I did a bit of reading about it to better understand and it is really interesting reading material. I mean, for example, I didn't know about organogenesis in plants ..., but also, I am confused as to some referring to the offsets as clones. I also looked at Babylonstorens web page, about them, the drone footage, the place is massive! What a well planned farm and gardens. Thank you for taking us along. Oh, the sound quality on this video was very good.
@@natalier3505 Thanks for watching, I’m glad it piqued your curiosity. I refer to them as clones simply because they are genetically identical to that original specimen found in 1895 but you’re right, they were grown from offsets
Wow! What a stunning location. Gorgeous views & wonderful plants. Scadoptera picta is currently ravaging my Clivias & belladonna lilies. Too wet & humid. I’ll look forward to more of your revelations. Cheers!
Thank you for joining me. Lots more gorgeous views and interesting plants to share soon! I’m not familiar with that caterpillar but did encounter large numbers of the Amaryllis borer (Brithys crini). Good luck!
Stunning! I cant wait to see more
The fact that you made it out alive from the airport to your destination is a miracle itself.
An exciting adventure for you! Thanks for taking us along.
Another fantasic video. Feel like you deserve a lot more attention that you get.
That’s a really nice thing to say 🙏 I’m glad you are enjoying the videos. Thank you for your support!

Are they working you too hard lad? No further videos have been forthcoming.
I know! My apologies, I have been slack with getting videos edited in my down-time. Hopefully there will be something in the next week or two
