Okay, I'm just gonna get this off my chest.... Jacob said in Eclipse (and in BD part 1), when you imprint on someone, you would do anything or be anything she would need. A friend, a brother or a protector..etc. And yes! I know that him imprinting on her as a baby was alittle weird. But if you rewatch that particular scene, Jacob was prepared to go in there & kill her for killing Bella. But when Renesmee made eye contact with him & he had that vision or whatever, he could see a future for himself with her (when she was full grown obviously) & imprinted on her. By (uncontrollably) imprinting on Renesmee, Jacob was protecting her from being killed by Sam's pack, already playing the role of Protector. And as Renesmee continued to grow in BD part 2, he became more like a Friend/Big Brother to her as well as a protector. And when she becomes full grown later on, Jacob would more than likely be the boyfriend figure to her (hence Alice's vision at the end of BD part 2 when she saw them all together). OK, I think I've made my point lol I just wanted to get that off my chest cuz lotta folks react the same way to that particular scene.

When I saw Carlisle die in the theater, I was LIVID!!! And then Seth, and all my other faves. 😔 I was literally drafting an email to the studio in my head lmbo, so I'm glad nobody actually died. And I loved the credit sequences because this was truly an epic conclusion at the time. Of course the movies haven't aged well, and they're more like guilty pleasures now, but I'll always be a Twihard. 😂❤

I enjoyed this Twilight journey with you three!! and its always nice to see someone experience a movie/series (that you watched many times) for the first time. I know this is old, but I really want to see your thoughts on the Vampire Diaries. That’s my second favorite vampire show/movie after Twilight and I love seeing other people’s reactions to the characters.
Imprinting isn't inherently sexual or romantic. Baby animals imprint on their parents and their parents imprint on them. Also, dogs imprint on the human kids their raised around. Nothing sexual implied. I'm not team Jacob. I'm team what happened happened. And what happened is Jacob got Man's Best Friend zoned.
