The whole battle scene wasn't in the books so when I tell you the whole movie theater was losing their fucking mind 😂 Carslile's death had us screaming
I legit got up and left.😂 It wasn't until it came out on DVD that I watched the whole thing then I truly felt like a dumbass for walking out.🤦🏼♀️😂🤣🤷🏼♀️
I was getting physically ill when I saw this. Almost had to leave. And then…it was a vision. We were all so confused.
I legit fainted when we learned it was all a vision. I was crying so hard because I couldn't understand why they would deviate from the book so much, and the relief to know it wasn't real was so intense that i just dropped out of my seat.

Omg I was in a cinepolis (21+ theater with lazy boy chairs) we had a few drinks and when that fight scene happened I was internally losing my mind and ready to walk out…. When I flashed back the entire theater exhaled and we all realized we hadn’t been breathing. Then everyone laughed hysterically but with relief. It makes sense to have that scene because the book was anticlimactic and that really was an amazing on screen experience through Alice’s vision. Because I know how it ends, I actually love that they did that for the movie. It makes it worth watching. Otherwise, I’d say it would have been better left as a book. The wolves and CGI baby were too odd and they never really showed how much Bella did at home for her dad to take care of him and make the house feel like a home not a bachelor pad and she had a job at Mikes parents sporting good store. The movies made her look super selfish and entitled when really she was awkward about receiving gifts or having anyone do things to help her. She would read her book outside on true grass and they really made her look like a lazy self absorbed entitled brat. She’s awkward as hell and Edward is a sad boy allllllll the time 😂.
The book explains the imprinting stages and how they view the person the wolf imprinted on. I’m still kind of like viewing them as “the chose one” but it’s to match them with the best possible bloodline to pass down the magic.
That’s why he was drawn to Bella from the beginning. It wasn’t his choice and he’s not a pervert/pedophile. If they meet their match as an adult, they will be romantically involved but well protected. But when it happens with under aged chosen ones, they absolutely are not romantic. They are their protector, friend, mentor, whatever they need. Through the stages and as the stages progress, they then develop the appropriate feelings.
The movie was showing us all the stages so it was strange. But at the Edward saw Alice’s vision of Jacob and Renesme together, Jacob didn’t even know about it. Edward made a kind compliment to Jacob and Jacob being 17 years old immature and petty, made a joke by saying “should I call you dad?” But that’s truly all it was. He’s 17… still a teenager with teenage sarcasm

The vampire that said, "Finally" at 50:19 is named Marcus. Once upon a time, he was in love with Aro's sister, Didyme who was the love of his life and became his wife. Both of them were powerful but Aro had her killed because he thought they were either planning on leaving the coven or overthrow him to become the leaders of the Volturi. After her death, Marcus tried to unalive himself but Aro was able to control him through mind control. Marcus didn't want to live. He had been "living" for hundreds of years but all he really wanted to do is die and be reunited with his love. That is why he didn't even put up a fight and just accepted his fate. It is really very sad when you think about how this only happened in Alice's vision and it was all a misdirect. He didn't get to be reunited with his wife and be at peace.
The actor who played Marcus, Christopher Heyerdahl, didn't get a lot of screen time or lines in these movies but I HIGHLY recommend the series 'Van Helsing'. He is in that and (No Spoilers) you just HAVE to watch it because he is... I won't say anything but his performance is *chef's kiss* The twists are turns are INSANE in that show. The first few episodes are a bit slow, but it picks up like crazy. It's very dark and creepy, gory, but SO interesting! Even though it's not full horror, there are a few moments in the series where I had to hit pause and turn on all the lights (I never do that for other shows!) and that was just one character calling another character's name! *shudders* If you like The Walking Dead, vampire movies, complex character arcs and a bit of mystery then this is the show to watch.

The wolves don’t wear a lot of clothes because they can’t afford to keep buying new ones if they destroy them every time they phase. Most everyone on the reservation doesn’t have a lot of money. Also they run well over 100 degrees, so they don’t need warmth anyway.
in the books , i believe they tie their clothes to their ankles when they shift,, but im unsure !
@@kiefcoffee which is also a reason why they wear so little, you can only really tie up a pair of shorts without it being super annoying to hold.
They also run hot so they don't need to wear much to be warm

@@edn Ok so about the imprinting. The wolves all have a soulmate. But see, the term soulmate isn’t always a romantic relationship. It can be romantic. It can be mother and daughter. Teacher and student. Brother and sister. Best friend and best friend. Fate guides you to the person your life is tied to. Once you see them you can never be apart from them. And neither can the other person. It’s supposed to be a magical life fulfillment for them.
Jacob and renesmee imprinting. The roles for the two people in the relationship can change depending on the situation. And no matter what role fate gives them, both parties' feelings are completely genuine. So because Renesme is half human and half vampire she matures faster than humans do physically and mentally. In 7 years after her birth she’ll reach full maturity and will stop aging. And during her years growing up she matures faster each day. To be honest she could learn everything about the world on her own. Only thing her family can do is protect her. So as a kid Jacob will be her protector. In her late teen years Jacob will be her friend. And when she becomes a full vampire they’ll be something else. Fate will tell them which roles they need to be. And each time it’s they both are completely genuine about the roles they were given. Also as long as Jacob keeps shifting into a wolf his human form will never age. So he can live as long as Renesme does.
A lot of fans confuse this relationship with grooming but it’s actually not. Because of the type of being she is she LITERALLY can’t be manipulated. And like I said, each role is completely genuine. Jacob’s not attracted to her when she’s a kid and he’s not gonna raise her either. When fate guides him to be a protector he genuinely feels like a protector. When fate guides them to be friends they’re genuinely going to be friends. And when fate guides them to be something else they really are in love. They know they end up together but they don’t focus on that. They just focus on what they need to do currently.

The cgi baby was not done well and I understand why so many reactors are disturbed by it. The main reason they did there cgi baby is because Reneesme is supposed to be unnaturally intelligent and her eyes are supposed to be more alert and aware than a real baby would look. Sometimes I wonder if they went back and remastered the cgi baby with today's technology if they could fix it so it looks less wrong.

I don’t think it’s about the time back then we had avengers and CGI was SO GOOD even CGI from early 2000s wasn’t bad at all, I don’t understand what happened with Twilight they could’ve done much better

@@thegrasslands4187 Seeing as they did the CGI over an animatronic doll, I think they did fantastic. I'm comparing to the mocap Moff Tarkin and princess Leia from Star Wars Rogue One; they had actors with dots on their faces and Disney money and it was still a bit odd. I think faces are difficult to CGI well because we know what they should look like so intimately, so they will always be uncanny valley until it's at perfect deep fake levels.
From the books, Jacob's dad was never a shifter. The tribe's shifter genes only come out when there are vampires in their territory. The younger generation of those who carry the shifter gene began transforming, because there were rogue vampires in their territory. That's one of the reasons the Cullens aren't allowed on the reservation so that they can live in town without triggering the shifters. Shifters only age once they imprint and mate. They will age at the same rate as their mate and die together. Since Renesmee is immortal, Jacob will be immortal too.
It's also explained a little in the books that because Jane was only 12 when she was turned, she is just barely old enough not to count as an immortal child herself. She and her twin brother, Alec, have enough brain development to control their thirst, but they've got the brain development of middle schoolers. The Volturi have further corrupted the two by wielding their abilities as weapons.
I like to think that bc they were created in the 1300s and aro needed their powers for his coven they just made an exception/ bc of the time they viewed that age as being more mature than they would now.

@@edn hey guys I just binged your whole Twilight reactions. I think the Twilight movies were geared toward the Teen audience. I think you guys like the vampire genre. Since the HotD season 2 is over, you should definitely check out A Discovery of Witches(vampires, witches, etc). It’s much more recent and definitely targets a more mature audience. The storyline is REALLY great. The cast is VERY diverse. This show is also based on books that target more mature readers. PLEASE give S1 E1 a try. It just got to Netflix in August.
Imagine sitting in the theater, cringing at the cgi baby and weird wolf love vibes. But as soon as Carlisle’s head came off we all LOST OUR MINDS. Absolute pandemonium. 😅🤣 the investment we had met one hundred fast.

Good thing that he ended up getting with Sue because then he had not only a woman to love him, but Seth and Leah as well who he knew were wolves too. I love that Charlie didn't end up alone. It would have been heartbreaking.

They absolutely cannot tell Charlie the complete truth. They’re already on the Volturi’s radar and it would get him killed. Bella is always worried about everyone but herself and cares very much about Charlie. She never calls him that to his face, it’s just habit from growing up with her mom referring to him as Charlie. I guess the books show Bella’s selflessness better than the movies.

Though it’s not shown in the movies, Marcus was with Aro’s sister and they were planning to leave the Volturi but Aro had her killed before they could leave and Marcus has pretty much stayed in a withdrawn depressive state since,though he doesn’t know Aro had her killed. Aro then used a vampire named Chelsea who has special powers to influence you much like Jasper but in a stronger way to make Marcus stay loyal to the Volturi but he’s stayed depressed since so that’s why he’s like finally because he’s pretty much wanted to die since his girl did.
So besides the grossness of imprinting, it’s so silly that Jacob’s earlier attraction to Bella was attributed to her carrying the egg that would become the baby. If that were so, why wasn’t he crushing on Edward too since he carried the other half of the future baby?
Maybe it only makes him attracted to the female? It’s a stupid concept.
Well technically the egg would have always been there but sperm regenerates every 2 months and it’s the egg divides to create the baby.

Imprinting is already a ridiculous and messed up concept but I think it's less about the egg in Bella and more of a fate and destiny thing (or maybe not because Stephanie Meyer has written some WILD stuff). It's hilarious to think of Jacob's wolfy instinct chilling out waiting for the right egg to strut along the fallopian tubes and cha cha slide into Bella's uterus. 😂😂😂

"Take care of him" doesn't always mean in the way you are talking about. It can also refer to mental and emotional care. So he's not alone. Thats what couples do, they love and care for each other. Bella has been worried about charlie being alone and so shes glad that he has someone to care for and to care for him.
Also, bella definitely couldn't have told her dad the truth it would have definitely gotten him killed if it was ever discovered that he knew the truth.
And yes, unfortunately what your thinking about jacob and the baby is true. Imprinting is kinda like soulmates i guess.(When it comes to werewolf lore).Except its more primal and instinct. Which is why Jacobs whole demeanor changed with bella after he...... Imprinted

Not everyone has a power. They’re all strong and fast, and don’t need to breathe or any human limitations like that, but powers are rare. Bella has extremely strong self-control, and thinks it’s just a lame “power” she has for being so calm and tame as a newborn.

Her control actually is not really said to be her power. It's actually heavy implied that it was fully due to the fact that she was prepared to become a vampire and that she knew the consequences and moral dilemma and that she lived with Cullens, which already showed her its possible to live normally. All the other vampires are consumed by their instincts and they don't know better. They think that's what they have to do.
But also Bella didn't have control - she fully went after that climber. It was only thanks to her flight instincts being activated when Edward started to chase after her, that she broke from the thirst-stupor.
She is also not the first Cullen to do it. Edward notably only started drinking people, when he decided to break from Carlisle. Rosalie and Alice never drunk people, one because she hated her existence and other because her foresight helped her see her life with Cullens.
And after drinking all that animal blood - Bella was satisfied enough to not try any human blood. It's also important to mention that none of them ever drunk human blood - even if they can smell it, they never actually tasted it. Which can also probably help, as Edward mentions it to be like drug on multiple occasions. It's easier to not drink it, if you haven't tried.
So yeah - Bella's ability is fully just her shield. Which she inherited from Charlie.

Y'all should watch the "underworld movie" series, its about Vampires and Werewolves (Lycans) and it kind of shows a different take on vampire vs werewolves from how Twilight showed them especially during this series y'all kept talking about "silver" to kill them.

Renesmee is supposed to be unnaturally perceptive and aware. They originally had an animatronic baby doll, but it looked ridiculous and bizarre. Believe it or not, the uncanny valley ai baby looks ten times better. There's a clip on youtube with them acting in a scene with the doll, and it's hilarious. They called it Chuckesmee, like the Chuckie doll. Search for the clip called "Meet Chuckesmee The Doll Deemed Too Creepy For Twilight." and be prepared for something very strange.
I cried like a baby at the end of the movie back then. I met Carlisle at the movie theater.

There author wrote an alternate version of Twilight called,”Midnight Sun” that is written from Edward’s perspective. She also wrote a very short book based on the vampire that Carlisle & Esme tried to same in Eclipse in “The second short life of Bree Tanner”.

Bella is more aggressive bc shes a newborn vampire yall😭 her emotions are all super heightened, shes not thinking how she usually would, shes like bella+ rn, so shes not being super crazy at first bc she just wants to.
And bc she's unique she's not even as crazy as a newborn should be. She adapted to it right away

If I remember correctly the Volturi that said “finally” was terminally depressed because his mate had died long ago. I think the story was Aro probably had her killed in secret to keep them from leaving his coven.
i definitely recommend “UNDERWORLD” it’s a vampire and werewolf movie. “ARO” in twilight is actually in the movie and his story is REALLY good imo! the action scenes are great. and i’d love y’all’s reaction to it❤thank you guys. God bless:))

Not only the graphic parts (which I cannot wait to see them dying cringing at) but also there's a lot of religious stuff in True Blood and it's very self aware which is why it's so fun and campy - it's definitely one of the ones I'd be more interested in seeing reactions to!!
I would LOVE for them to react to True Blood. One of the most fun campy modern vampire shows, I doubt they would ever watch it but I dream of that day 😂

Yalls reaction to the vision is TOP TIER!! 😂 Also the ending with the recap with Bella & Edward was to show Bella dropping her shield and allowing Edward to read her mind for the first time. Also when Edward reads a mind he can see what they're thinking, hence him being able to see Alice's visions by reading her mind.
I remember watching this in the theater the first night it came out, and the theater was packed! I’ll never forget how everyone gasped when that happened to Carlisle in the end. 😄 We were all so devastated! 😅

The Fight at the End Never happens in the Book, The Fight in the movie is the Vision Aro is reading from Alice's mind in the book Aro reads Alice's vision and they just walk away. Jacob will not age and stay in his teens until the Vampire threat is gone, Renesme will stop rapidly aging at 18, in a few days she grew to age around 10 years ish .The Actor Who plays Aro is Michael Sheen, he plays The Angel Aziraphale in Good Omens

Movies with them splitting one book actually did a really good thing with that scene. We got action, but we kept the lore intact. And to be fair that's probably what Aro saw in that vision.

He likely would have changed, if vampires actually attacked the village and no one was left there to defend people. Funny how you asked “is Ed holding a green screen pillow or something?”…… ummm….they were actually all holding this extra freaky scary lookin animatronic baby…. 😂😂😂 And it was so terrible looking that they used CGI over the shots hahaha. So this baby actually looks a lot less scary than what they were originally working with lol But for the infant scenes, they really should have used a real baby haha. They struggled thinking about how to approach filming a child that was supposed to grow exponentially fast, and have it look like the same person the whole time

They did CGI for the baby because it was easier then getting a bunch of child actors that look the same because of how fast she glows up.

Ima clear a couple things up. First off theres a reason the vamps dont want the volturi gone except for the romanians. When the romanians ruled they had human slaves and did not plan on making civilizations for humans. When the volturi came they overthrew them, went into hiding and allowed humans to think they are the dominant species. This is why they have rules about not being too obvious. The cullens arent only rare bc they eat animals theyre rare bc they stay and live amongst humans for years at a time instead of in the shadows. The cullens need the volturi bc its bc of their rules and secrecy that the cullens have the option to live the way they do around humans. Second thing is Jacob is not a creep. He has no say in whether or not it becomes romantic. Rasputin holds all the power. Lil Ratatouille can decide at any time that she only wamts him as a friend or that she wants him to go off himself and he has to follow what she wants. The unfortunate thing about imprinting is that the imprintee is not required to love you back and they dont have the hormonal change that forces them to love the way the imprinter does. So if he does end up with her its her choice not his. Im so not excited for the new book the authors making bc you know she gonna make it weird.
