I think what makes Anguirus so memorable is that he's the underdog of the Toho lineup of kaiju. In fact, if you look up the definition of underdog in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of Anguirus right beside it.

Anguirus is such a loveable kaiju and it makes me happy that they got his image right in this game. Would of been cool to have a 55 and 04 version of him

I love this game I played it nonstop for like a month back when it came out.
I think it nailed a sweetspot it's just so satisfying for some reason incrementally growing larger its very cool looking how small you start then seeing the end result
Even baby monsters like angy can become massive.
I really wish anguirus got more respect overall series wise
He has been around for almost as long as goji but is very rare to even have him referenced let alone alive!

I still have to max Anguirus, Jet Jaguar, who I can finish unlocking his moves by just beating him for some reason, Mothra(Adult/Larvae), my God that's going to be a pain in the ass, Battra Adult, who is abhorrently bad for some reason when you play him but is overpowered against, Battra Larvae, Super-Mechagodzilla, and Kiryu. Other than that I have all the monsters unlocked and maxed out.

Anguirus is such a pain to use.
+Hipidipin A lot of his best moves require his roar, which takes a long time to execute, and most of his attacks are close-range, so he's not great to build up Fury destruction. But he has *tons* of moves with invincibility, which helps him a great deal. Rodan could've benefited from something similar.

I have an idea of having Baragon in the game to accompany Anguirus as a four legged dinosaur kaiju in the game. Maybe have him be based in his 1965 or 2001 incarnation.

I'm still stuck on getting Anguirus to 100 meters. I have maxed out his evolution, too. Do you have any tricks or something to make him grow faster? I still have problems with Mechagodzilla, Mechagodzilla 2, Battra (Imago), Destroyah, Gigan, Burning Godzilla, and Godzilla (1964)
It's been a really long time, all I remember is using his "emergency dodge" underground attack quite a bit to cover ground, and relying on his jumping shell attack to also move just a pinch faster. The jump attack works best when you can perform it and land on top of buildings, since that pretty much immediately destroys them, and you can also slide over the top of them and sometimes chain a combo over multiple buildings. It's pretty situational, though.
Also, save vehicles for last, if possible! Try to reach 10x fury destroying buildings and GDF tanks/weapons, then go after the tiny vehicles scattered throughout the stages. Destroying vehicles doesn't add to your Fury multiplier, but they do give you tons of energy when you have a very high Fury count.

@@WolfFistProductions That is also true! If you are able to somehow save bonuses for last, you'll get a ton of energy dependent on your fury combo.

Anguirus never gets appreciation despite his important place in the history of kaiju AND movie history. Monsterverse certainly doesn't give anything respect but him just being a skeleton in the same movie they had a burrowring quadraped kaiju is just so moronic.

I have a question if you fight godzilla vapor breath can you unlock vapor breath
If you are playing as the regular Godzilla, you can only unlock the vapor breath in Evolution Mode (you need enough materials to get it). But Godzilla 1964 comes with it as his standard breath.
