Dan no denying the m3 is a beast but iv got to say looking back to the way you drove the k swapped mr2 it just blew me away. Its like that type of setup was made for you. I would love to see you behind the wheel of a caterham or an atom, even a radical. You would dominate in that type of category.

Hopefully the Z30 just needs shift cables or a bush, Toyota tran's are usually pretty reliable at stock power levels, save for the synchros wearing out, at least in my experience

I'll be uploading the video of the stripdown shortly. As I know what caused it (I wont ruin the surprise) your comment hurt even more haha
With SMG you pull the paddles behind the steering wheel to change gear. With manual you have to press the clutch and move the stick. I don't think there's any difference in pace but I do with SMG had a wider brake pedal like a proper auto. The stock gearing is longer. There aren't many occasions where longer gearing is better.
The MR2 looks like a lot more fun to drive. As a E46 owner and a MR2 owner I know this to be a fact
