I bought a Star Wars double pack. It was bizarre because the Switch said check for updates, but then the games started up immediately before there was even an answer.

If posible it would be nice to know exactly what the patch contains or at least if the games is fully contained withon the cartridge.
Although they both have updates theres a hige difference between Dying Light and Borderlands 3 for example.
As far as the game being fully playable from cart, I would have to test. Which I do plan to do and release a video on that once it’s fully tested. Since I just received the game, I will need some time.
As far as patches go, I’ll try and see if I can find patch notes and add them to the description. It just depends on the devs if they released patch notes for the game.

As you mentioned it would probably represent a lot more work because even if the game comes complete it might have a game breaking bug.
Too bad publishers arent honest with whats being released so that things like this arent required

Not at all! I planned on testing the game out anyways. I did a video for Smurfs 2 breaking down the test. So these will also be tested in due time.
