you will need workshop tools and console enabled from your game settings in CS2
and for your friends to connect to your server i forgot to mention you need to open your ports on your router settings here is another video i found going over this for you

how can you add maps you have downloaded in the workshop to the server?
you need to add the files to your game map files manually to play custom maps on your server download them from the workshop then add the vpk of whatever map you downloaded to your cs2 map folder and then add it to your map rotation in your server config files or load them map on your server console
i have not tried since the workshop release it might be simpler than that now i will find out and make a new updated video soon
@@JishJosh Thanks for the reply! I got a custom map to load, but when having a friend connect, they get "required map is missing on your client". Is there a command to have clients to be able to download the map needed when connecting? I remember having to download custom maps on old surf maps for example.
