OMG i'm Turkish and i can't believe you've never get any pomegranate. It's a daily food for us😂 it's delicious but so sour. And eating it is a pain. Still have so many benefits and amazing with salads.
Greece has that story with hades and persephone where he treats her for some pomegranate seeds and then she has to stay 6 months on earth and 6 in the underworld for having dined with the dead. That’s about the only thing I think about when I hear pomegranate 😂 we have these in Bosnia as well we call them ”šipak”
I've had those strawberry milk candies before, they're so good! They sell them at our local Kroger's, though I'm not sure if they have them anymore but they're delicious!
We recently discovered the potato-hot dog things at one of our local Costco stores here in Houston, Texas - at about the same price. They we much better when cooked in an air-fryer the potatoes get crispy and the cheese is hot and melty. Good. 😊🎉
I love watching Korean grocery hauls they look so delicious and satisfying and cute yummy snacks and food , Korea looks so much fun I want to go one day💖🖤🥰
Kinda wish the US had those meal-for-one kits. The closest we have is the Hello Fresh/Home Chef boxes, and those are aimed more at families, not individual people. I'd be buying them ALL the time!!
Korea is a country with very strong military, economic, and technological power. At the same time, it is a country without any resources. In order for Korea to survive, it must continuously develop technology, make money using that technology, and purchase food from many countries around the world. Therefore, the moment Korea stops developing technology, they have no choice but to starve to death because they have no money to buy food, so they focus on technological development at the risk of their lives. And in Korea, prices are soaring at an incredible rate due to the government's flawed politics. Now I think I may only be able to eat one meal a day.
I love your content! I was twice in Korea already but both times in Myeongdong and I did't realise how much of mistake it was in terms of grocery shopping - only small CVS and no big stores for shopping like in your video. Next year I am going for a whole month so I will do proper groceries and cook. Your videos help me visualise what products are available and what prices 😊 Problem is, being from Europe I can buy vegetables and fruits cheap and eat them everyday. This would be hard to give up. Like I live on grapes, but I guess my wallet will suffer if I buy them in Korea 😅
Absolutely love your videos. Following them since long ♥️♥️ Regarding the pomegranates, in my country ( India ) especially during season or in the main fruit market , you actually get a kilogram for around 20-50 rupees. That's like 400-1000 Won Max to max. 😅 Although the prices do go up, it is still a pretty affordable and common fruit for us. Anyway, lot's of love to you and your family 💛 Keep making the amazing content.
I think it's difficult to compare food prices as a whole, some things are cheaper here in Czechia (such as veggies and fruits, though I wouldn't vouch for the quality of them), some are not available at all (never seen a corn dog outside a specialty store and the prefab selection is very limited in general). Those meal kits are comparable with Czech prices, but look so much better! Usually, the ones around here would have all the veggies, sauce and dry ingredients, but you'd have to add meat/protein and anything that needs to be refrigerated yourself. Supermarkets sometimes do 2+1 or 3+1, rarely 1+1. I also do notice that mushrooms tend to be waaay cheaper anywhere I don't live :D
I daily eat fruits and I like very much specialy mangoes and strawberry and not much expensive in Pakistan. Come to Pakistan to eat and enjoy tastes daily❤🇵🇰🇵🇰
In the country i live in...Fruits and vegetables are not too cheap...but not too expensive either. My dad buys fruits very often and we eat fruits on a daily basis. So sometimes the thought of eating fruits annoys me. I feel like if i was in korea i would miss the fruits a lot though.

Oh wow!😲😲 That's nice. I only tried pomegranate flavored juice but not the fresh one because it's an expensive fruit in korea.😅

We had a tree back home in Jamaica that bore 1 fruit then died, but that was the best pomegranate I've ever had in my entire life lol
