Kinda funny how after I got my min pin puppy this month, these videos started showing up in my recommends, haha. Super helpful videos btw! subscribed to ya!~
Yeah it took a while with sally since we adopted her when she was two- was completely unsociable. Oh another vid idea- about rescues and or a feature of Minpins at rescues who need new furever homes
Oh my gosh! So pleased I found you! Having had many dogs in my life which I've trained successfully we've just got a male Min Pin puppy (11 weeks now) and I'm starting to panic. He seems super intelligent. Knows his name, will sit on command etc. He's a delightful dog but seems to have endless energy and becomes very quickly over-excited and then snappy. This is different from the more gentle puppy bites I recognise and I'm not sure how to contain this without being over hard on him. We also have a young Frenchie who is eager to play with him but again the Min Pin's excitement goes way over and they have to be separated. Of course he's not had his second jab so as yet we can't exercise him with the Frenchie which may well improve matters but any advice is very welcome or comments from anyone who has dealt with this issue would be v helpful.
We just adopted a wonderful one-year old red Min Pin from a shelter. What a wonderful dog! I've been a fan of Min Pins forever but never dreamed I would find one in a shelter.
I'm saving money atm to be able get myself a min pin maybe next year! I have never owned a dog before and usually all the videos I've seen, have said that it's not a good first time dog, but I fell in love to this breed so much that I'm going to learn everything needed to be able to get one with confidence!
Hey, as much as I respect your affection for min pin and your own financial decision, I would strongly suggest you to look around local dog shelters, there are many dogs in need for help and they are healthy/affectionate pups too
Just got a new min pin puppy rescue (left in dumpsters w/ brother) only issue is still needs last shot and it’s a month out so we’re limited to the house for a month until he gets his last shot . So house breaking is kind of out of the question for risk of diseases and I’m a bit worried about the risk of not getting used to other dogs as well . I have 3 children and never been so nervous even when my children were baby’s He is absolutely amazing and smart so I believe he’ll do well even after a month of lock down
I’d love to send you a video of my 6 week old min pin demonstrating her first skill, ‘sit’. She is so enthusiastic about learning it, w/o exaggeration, it’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.
My husband and I got a min pin for our first dog! Hes only 2 months old and doesnt have all of his vaccinations so we cannot take him outside to potty train yet. We are pee pad training him and some days he does amazing with it and other days he will pee and poop wherever. How do we help with pee pad training and what is the best way to go from pee pad training to outside training?
the technical information most people probably will learn from this video could be condensed into 4-5 albeit somewhat long sentences. 9 minutes? Also, onscreen bullet points would help more than your talking head (rotating between clips, text, talking, etc.) new min pin owner looking for channels to follow to inform my ownership and training. I'm probably the ideal "potential subscriber" you could get. This is my feedback. keep at it!
I didn't have my Min Pin's ears clipped. Would not match his personality. I miss him so. Want another Min Pin but here they are quite expensive. $1,500.00. I will get one and it will be reasonable and so positive. "I just Know it!" Male, black, and ready to have that energy in my life again. I have Jet's ashes Know his energy is with me too. 💟
Quick question😊 I just got my mini pin 2 weeks ago and she's about 2-3 months old. Should I be starting her training soon? To be honest, I'm trying to train her as soon as possible but her attention span is so short. How can I get my min pin to pay attention to me?😅
I just got a 2 year old min pin today. So far she pissed on my floor and shit on my floor twice. She jumps at my food whenever I eat regular food. She is insistent on being in our bed not her bed. Any tips on an older min pin?
I have a “meagle” she’s a mini pin/beagle… just found this series/channel…. Any advice? My biggest issues with her are the chewing on my truck (I’m a trucker… she just destroyed a seat belt yesterday) and the trash eating… I want to do good by her but I’m in over my head at times
Have a rescue male about 11 year old, he was never taught to play, he is great with our children, other dog, and cat. What dry food do you suggest for a senior Min Pin?
I have a question I have a four-month-old min pin male what food do you recommend for him ?.... Since a month he's been eating pedigree kibble puppy food. Is that good ?
Mine are now 13 years old. It was funny how we got them trained. As usual, we kept them in a smaller room. (We tried creating them but they would immediately poo the create.) Yes pooing the create was a way for them to get out. Next up was leaving the door open in the small room, with pee pads all over. As me and my wife were intensely talking how this wasn’t working.... our daughter walked between us and went under the sink and grabbed a bottle of Windex. Sprayed it on the pee pad. The dogs went over and sniffed it and peed!! We were in shock. We asked her why that helped? She said, “simple, it has ammonia in it.” “A little spray will do ya.” It is truly logical. That is why both cats and dogs go back to the same spot to pee. Soooo.... Also make sure you thoroughly clean up their accidents or there will be new behaviors that are disappointing. I use vinegar to clean up any accidents.
